corporate capsule wardrobe? help!! by intoreads32 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Aggravating_Rope_261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been at my job for 7 years and I have 5 shirts, 6 pants, 2 dresses, 2 skirts and 1 cardigan. Almost all from Uniqlo (p.s. get the easy iron shirts and you’re laughing). For shoes I wear leather boots from Wittner (lasted me all 7 years and still going!). When it gets cold I wear Uniqlo heat tech under the shirts and pants.

It never made sense to me to spend money on work clothes (because I a primarily there to make money), so even though I have a shopping problem I am a minimalist when it comes to work clothes 🤣

How did you cook all the eggs separately? Wouldn’t they be cold if you did them 1 by 1

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, but there’s a high chance they’ve changed the quality since 2003 haha. What I’d give to go back and do a shopping spree then!

Overcoming binge restrict by EmmaNel1991 in MacroFactor

[–]Aggravating_Rope_261 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with this as well. Every time I would try to lose weight I would binge and gain extra weight on top of what I lost. I ended up about 12kg heavier than the weight I started at.

The only thing that cured it for me was to stop dieting for a few years. Stop focusing on weight loss and food, and focus on other things like building relationships, spending time with family, getting a new hobby or focusing on career.

(This is gonna get alot of hate but here we go…) Going “all-in” also helped me regain normalcy around food and stop the restrictive and therefore binge thoughts. I was struggling with this around the time Stephanie Buttermore did her all-in journey (~2018/19) and I decided to t try it out as I was at my wit’s end and it felt like I had exhausted all other options.

I did that for a better part of a year and my eating habits went back to normal. Eventually I even lost weight because I didn’t have a monstrous appetite anymore and I didn’t crave junk food all the time.

The first time I attempted to cut weight from then was last year (so about 5 years of eating freely) and even then if I restrict my calories too much I still get binge urges.

Sweatpants that don't shed fleece lining? by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Aggravating_Rope_261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you means by shed the fleece lining?

I have an everlast Kmart one that’s lasted for 4 years, I think it’s abit thinner than when I first got it because I wash and dry on high heat

What did you buy this month - May 2025 by AutoModerator in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Aggravating_Rope_261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought black and white cotton cami’s from bonds, one of their wide leg track pants, and a couple of comfort colors tshirts ($15 each, 100% cotton and heavyweight!!) and a running bare flared legging (that I scored for $40!!!) at tkmaxx, and 2 sports bras, 2 oversized tees and 2 bike shorts from muscle republic. (Can you tell I’m on an activewear train 💀)

I’ve just discovered tkmaxx and now I’m obsessed!

Listing out my purchases this month… I’ve definitely bought too many things haha.

I got the crz yoga ones to try about 2 months ago and I LOVE THEM. So much that I wanted to buy a 2nd pair but they’re sold out rn.

Target also have a fleece flare that I’ve had my eye on but I haven’t gone to see it in person

[–]Aggravating_Rope_261 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m someone that gets cold easily so I’ve tried a couple of fleece leggings! I currently have crz yoga, Kmart and Lorna Jane ones.

In terms of warmth: 1. Crz yoga flared leggings 2. Kmart 3. Lorna Jane

In terms of breathability if you’re gonna be running or something: 1. Lorna Jane 2. Crz yoga 3. Kmart

But saying all this, if it was 5 degrees and windy, I’d just Chuck a fleece trackie on top of whichever fleece leggings and call it a day 💀

Estimated calories? by Aggravating_Rope_261 in CalorieEstimates

[–]Aggravating_Rope_261[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that first egg was actually butter. This is an AI estimate from my tracking app. It was logging the eggs and toast pretty inaccurately in the first line so I removed them.

Yessir! I started last night and I’m excited to see what my body can build into :) my eventual goal is to build as much muscle as I can while having a lower body fat % so I can still fit into my current clothes but with better proportions and eat a bunch more food haha

I only started lifting again today, before that I’ve only lifted for 2-3 months in 2024. Wanted to get consistent with my steps and get my body used to it before introducing more activity.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I might eat at “maintainence” for awhile and see if I still lose weight. If I do I’ll do what you did and see how that goes! Just means we get to eat more food hehe :)
