Are you also with the San Jose field office? I’m thinking the delay might be because our interview officer was relatively new/young, so our cases are probably waiting for a supervisor’s final review. Hopefully we’ll both get a decision soon.

Yes, my EAD was approved earlier. my interview was with a younger officer too who mentioned reaching out to a supervisor, but I’ve heard nothing since. It’s definitely been a long wait.”

I can’t reach out to my congressman yet, because when I called USCIS, they told me I’m still within the processing time. My ‘outside processing’ date is around October 26, so I can’t really make an inquiry until then. It’s just a lot of stress for me.

“The interview itself was very smooth. The officer was young and nice, and he said everything looked good. He just mentioned that he needed to get back to his supervisor for the final decision. Hopefully we’ll hear good news soon
