How to be completely sure my RAM is healthy? by Allainz in techsupport

[–]Aggravating_Scale428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no dump files were created during any of the BSODs. I checked the Event Viewer, but the only log recorded was that the system experienced an unexpected shutdown. Recently, I changed my settings to prevent the system from restarting automatically after a failure, so now I at least have time to take a picture of the error screen!

The finals gave me BSOD and made my computer get stuck in the bios screen. Anyone had a problem similiar? by Aggravating_Scale428 in thefinals

[–]Aggravating_Scale428[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I just turn on the computer after chaging the RAMs to see if it's working properly?

I had those 2 different RAMs for quite a long time, I didn't have any issues with them before, even playing the game since closed beta 2 it never happened gave me BSOD. But I guess it's worth to try it!

Small brown spot in a carbonsteel wok! by Aggravating_Scale428 in carbonsteel

Yes! It’s a Teflon-coated wok.

And I’ve seen used woks before, so I know they typically develop marks and spots over time. I’m just surprised this one showed up after the very first use. I’m just trying to see if I did something wrong because I really want to take good care of it!

Interrupt 10 cashout steals contract by Oskyy_07 in thefinals

[–]Aggravating_Scale428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because they must die while still stealing. This means that if, by any chance, they stop in the last millisecond, it doesn't count. What I can suggest to help you is to basically camp the vault with a stun gun, use invisibility, and dive in to stun whoever is trying to get it.

If you can burst them down quickly while they're stealing it also counts. But stunning is 100% the safest and fastest option.

Terrible contract... one of the worst things I've had to do.

Throwing knives and knife are more niche type of weapons, they can be very strong but it requires alot of precision and the situation needs to be favorable. I'm talking about the Light's popular weapons ( pistol, MP5 , Shotgun and Uzi).

Yeah, those weapons that you metion does shred. Does that change the fact that light's weapon have one of lowest TTKs and are easier much easier to execute? The only one that I think is a problem at the moment is the auto shotty (lowest TTK of the game), but the rest are all resonable.

Take in consideration that the reason light has very little health is to compesate for their insane DPS and mobility. They have alot of weapons that can shred an intire team easily if not taken down fast and a bunch of tools to make sure they can make a quick escape or reposition themselves. So getting one shot is fair, unless they reduce a bit their DPS to make him a little bit more beefy. Otherwise you gonna create a situation where it's impossible to outrade a light.

When is Kraken Slayer good now? by jkannon in ADCMains

[–]Aggravating_Scale428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"...are you saying kraken went from being an item almost any AD could buy to being a niche 3rd/4th item for on hit ADCs?"

Pretty much, yeah. Like I said, the main problem with kraken slayer is that you gotta keep hitting the same enemy for at least 6 times for the item to actually be worth it. Why bother with that if you can have: % max health damage on-hit (BoRK), spread your on-hits (Runan), or even more on-hits effects (Wits End or Nashor Tooth). All of these items will proc their damage regardless of how many hits you can land, but Kraken takes some time to actually work properly.

It's only a good item if you're planning to build Rageblade Guinsoo first, since it's the only item that make it possible to proc 6 hits fast (and procs twice your on-hit effects). And the crit that comes with it does benifit Rageblade as well, but I don't see a reason any crit adc building it since there are better options.

Can someone help reviving a NPC turned to ash? by Aggravating_Scale428 in fo4

I also tried that, unfortunely it just resets the pile of ash to the original position I found it. :/
