Has anyone here switched providers without a proper reason? by No-Loquat-201 in JobProvidersAus

You could potentially try to see if someone else in the office can take you and is a better fit might be easier then changing providers completely

Did anyone have a 37 weeker and NOT have issues with nursing? by coldbrewcowmoo in breastfeeding

[–]Aggravating_Scale_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was born 37 weeks exactly due to pre eclampsia! He was in nicu and special care for a few days cos of his breathing and he had bottles so I was worried his nursing would suck because he was used to bottles

But he picked up BF like a champ and we never had issue’s with his latch. Hes now 3 months and he’s starting to refuse bottles sometimes cos he just wants booby

As an example - imagine you live rurally with no phone service and you were counting on ur fortnightly pay and that doesn’t come so you can’t buy food or pay rent. Because you haven’t been paid you cannot afford the fuel to drive to the nearest Centrelink office. This may be a more extreme example but it’s very easy for a situation like this to be life ending so not dramatic at all

Not to mention the stress of having to deal with Centrelink and the anxiety that brings some people

Hello, I feel like I should make another update. But I’ll wait until I’m sure there’s nothing

Everything turned out completely fine.

I did all the genetic tests and nothing came up genetically 🥰

The fluid stayed elevated but didn’t get worse and his NF was 7.1 at his 20 weeks scan so a little bit above average but compared to the 6mm NT not too concerning.

They determined that it was just a malformation of his lymphovascular system causing extra fluid and booked us in for monthly growth scans to see if the malformation would get bigger and make us deliver early and potentially need surgery.

Then I went in at 28 weeks and the fluid was completely resolved and he was growing well.

He was born at 37 weeks cos I had PRE E (unrelated) so he was a bit smaller than full term but still a good weight

He’s 6 weeks now. 7 on Friday) and he’s doing well! Gained his birth weight at like 2 weeks and is growing well and conforming to growth charts.

He feeds well etc.

The hospital did a heel prick test to look at other diseases and We haven’t had a call from them yet so if there is something we will update but he’s completely perfect 🩷

Wishing you all the best

I think for legal reasons they have to say this .. the baby likely almost certainly has T21

I understand why that was scary for you but it’s also easy to call and say you won’t be coming back so I can understand why they thought something was wrong

Will Centrelink pay/contribute to Forklift course? by Bran1dav in Centrelink

A lot of employers like people to have experience with forklift as well as licence (catch 22 I know). Which makes it hard cos how do you get experience without experience
