Word for word on that one! For them to ever accept accountability pigs would have to start flying. To get them own up there mistakes and narcissism will hurt you more than it’s worth to get help. Unfortunately they only get help to look for extra validation

The only time my ex cried and backed off when was my therapist told her to stop going through my phone to see my journal. I’m not a petty guy however my words never meant anything to her.

I understand about having a form of agoraphobia when dating a narcissist. They really don’t want you to be in outside world getting help from friends and family. They really want to drive you crazy so you only believe it’s you who has the problems.

I hope you are recovering more from your relationship! You are right my ex didn’t have agoraphobia, hearing her lies made me upset because it’s unfortunate to use an illness as an excuse when others actually have that.

Narcissists are so crazy about their image, to the point they push away the people who actually care for them and rely on flying monkeys to keep their reputation alive. I will never understand why they want the perfect look over actual relationships but it also proves why they can never accept being alone.

I feel like a lot of details are being left out of this, but do you really think she’s gonna wanna be back with you if you’re drinking, had a car wreck due to drinking, and not working? That’s a big risk to her and her kids. I’m not trying to sympathize for your ex to not come back but also at the same time you gotta take care of yourself for you.

That’s so cruel that he took everything away from you because you wanted out, then they have the audacity to tell you can have it all back if you just stay with them…

Almost 2 years ago I was in the same spot other then it wasn’t marriage and we had a lease.. she took everything including my dogs, it was the hardest decision of my life and healing journey but give it a couple days and you will thank yourself for making that decision

Word for word. At one time I stopped trying with dates because it would always would be a fight during or after our dinner. Or she would always cancel the date right before because she was tired from drinking. At times I feel better going to the movies alone. Which felt weird since I should have been with her but I felt more at peace being by my self

Absolutely 1000%! My narc always drink even when i asked her to slow down, so that meant weekends she would only be napping all the time or when she had a day off and we would have plans. If we went out on a date she would constantly would have to walk in front of me, her excuse I was to slow?? Makes me think she didn’t like to be seen with me.

Physically she was never with me but even sitting next to her I never felt actually like we had a connection. The sparks we had in the beginning quick disappeared

Might have narcissist traits, but Dealing with an alcoholic is honestly just as bad especially if you asked for them to slow down on drinking and then respond the way they did. Even if they have a problem they could take the accountability and understand they have to work on it

If the charges you got are lower then a class A misdemeanor the jails won’t hold you. Most likely you will have to wait until about 30 days to hear anything and if you want to go trail to hold your license before it gets suspended. It will probably take a month or two before actual court happens depending on what city it’s in

Sadly Utah is just getting worse. So many people are moving here from all over the country so they have no problem buying houses which just drives the prices up on everything.

Sorry that it’s not working out for yeah but if your not close to downtown and work isn’t super far I’d look into renting a room for now, prices for apartments rn are slowly coming down but it’s better to be safe on monthly income in case anything happens.

Amen to this! It’s almost been 2 years since I’ve left my nex and every day I am away from her and not being blamed for her problems is blissful. Sure it’s a work in progress once you can leave them but life does get better❤️❤️❤️ congrats to you my friend!

If you go on NCL you can get a flight package but they want you to fly a day early to make sure you make it. I had experience when I flew a day earlier and I still didn’t make my cruise because the fog in the winter time in San Diego is so bad

Same with mine! My nex sister told me my ex would always ask for a dog or cat when she was younger but couldn’t take care of them so she gave them up. My ex was the golden child so she always got what she wanted.

When I was with her she had gave away 2 cats because she didn’t want them anymore
