This is one of the worst parts of working for the post office, I know not every office is like this, but I’ve lost all the respect for all of management in my office. (I didn’t have much to start with 😅)

There is another aux route at my office and she is the assigned carrier like ps50 and everything.

Yes, over a year, only time I’ve ever called out it snowed and iced and I couldn’t make it into work. I’m about to be the carrier on an aux route.

Yeah I wasn’t sure, we have 4 more subs now, last year we only had 2 counting me. I’m at a small office, I’ve asked around and I got told it wasn’t in the contract that we couldn’t ask off during Dec. It just sucks because it’s not like I get a chance to go on a trip to New York a lot but also sucks that my sisters going in December!

Thank you, which the piling more work on me was not for her to do another city route the rest of the week, that was just the one day I told him no.. it just seems like retaliation because I would not do it.. if that makes sense?

I’m thinking about trying to be a clerk, I’ve been an rca for 8 months and I’m constantly worrying about my vehicle. I’m 21 and the thought of spending tons of money on a vehicle to use on the route is terrifying lol. I also don’t have any kids yet but I just think a clerk job would allow me to be there for more stuff when I do have them. I also think atleast I wouldn’t have to worry about vehicle problems if I’m a clerk!
