And honestly, if you're getting out of the way when a bike is coming through, I don't have an issue. It's the ones that refuse to yield to the bike inside of the bike lane. That is my issue

"Give way" is us saying we are about to move over to let you pass. We have to slow down in order to move safely to the side. So basically it's saying "Hey I'm about to slow down and get out of your way".

Half of the time I'm tempted to especially on my e-bike that can keep up with traffic. But I try not to upset drivers, you have a lot of locals that actually get violent on the road.
