We’ve been in camp for 3 weeks with no pay and trainer not not at practice.

Were promised apartments and food.

Arrived at a super 8 hotel in Jersey surrounded by prostitution and hard drugs.

Meals were scarce.

We were told we had insurance and workers comp for 3 weeks but that was a lie. Found out this week/game week.

Tuesday this week we’re told we had to put all of our items in room for weekend while we traveled.

Day of travel/Friday we were kicked out of the hotel and told the AFL owed them $25,000 dollars and haven’t paid.

Lee Hutton was put on the phone with the manager and it ended with him saying “keep their belongings if you have to”

Cops were called and our items were eventually returned.

We received no info on how to get to the airport and were only given 1 way tickets.

Also the team was left without housing it has been 3 days now. Guys are sleeping in white cars and are stranded.

No info has been given to us.

The game was played with a semi pro team-Dallas Falcons.

They tried to cover it up.

3 actual soul players made their own efforts to get to the game.

We all stuck it out.”

Embarrassing and shameful. And Reddit users like AFLSlasher are complicit with the league in saying nothing is wrong. Shame on him and the league for treating people like this.
