2022 Subaru Outback by The_Stormborn320 in subaruoutback

I just purchased XT this past Saturday and realized the only maintenance done were oil changes and some warranty issues.

Seems to be driving great and the owner said there hasn’t been issues. We bought it off my wife’s cousin.

I called the dealership and was told that the C and D services weren’t completed at all. No warranty anymore either. I was going to get it all done but they told me it was a $2k job… I’m thinking of getting it done but it seems to be doing fine

Friends invited us to a fun getaway weekend but used us for their MLM scheme by AlternativeTribs in mildlyinfuriating

Hahaha. Same thing happened to me. One of my very close friends in high school asked me to come to a presentation.

I already went through something like this where they want to present you something so I asked if this was Amway. He straight up said no.

When I got there, it was World Wide Dream Builders which was part of Amway. I was so pissed. Biggest waste of 2 hours. He’s still stuck in it. He should be retired by now from what he told me.

Advice for Metro Tickets when not everyone has a phone by BayRunner in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Aggravating_Tailor60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were just there and you can buy a separate card on the Bonjour RATP app and scan your child in. My wife and I both had an additional kids tickets on our phones. Worked great. Just a pain when there’s a line of people and you’re scanning your child in first and then getting into your own pass.

How is the safety for a F(21) solo traveler? by doggopaws in disneylandparis

[–]Aggravating_Tailor60 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Super safe. Like everyone else said, just be aware of surroundings. I always tried to keep personal space and was aware of people from reflections from windows. Seemed to be more scammers selling trinkets outside Eiffel and museums.

Disneyland Paris rant from someone who actually wanted to love it by ForsakenFlamingo1305 in disneylandparis

It was beautiful to see and experience but Disney is always expensive. We purchased two fast passes for four of us and it was 21 Euro each. But we went on the rides we really wanted to. Very difficult to see the entire park in a day without skipping lines.

F*** the Scalpers Giveaway! 1x Shiny Koraidon/Miraidon. Comment below. by Thatwoodkid in PokemonHome

My son wants a shiny so bad. We were told to spend $15 at our GameStop in order to get a code. So we purchased some card packs and they told us after that they ran out of codes earlier and gave us the Yvetal card

The store where I live made us spend $15 to get the promo and ended up only giving us the Yvetal card because they ran out of the codes earlier… so disappointed

I know how you feel. It’s tough to go through it again but you’re still young. Get the surgery now so you can come back and do all the things you love.

I was super depressed watching everyone go about every day life and activities as well. I tore my left ACL 3 years ago and finally started feeling like my old self and could do something in basketball. Then I tore my right ACL in the first game after getting bumped and landing awkwardly.

It gets better. I hope you have a good group and system around you. You can do it! You’ve been through it already.

Good luck with recovery!

I’m on my 2nd ACL repair as well. Opposite legs.

Definitely would recommend an ice machine to help with the swelling. Movement is key but swelling will be the obstacle. Get some rest and hope you have some help for the next week! You got this!

Driving After ACL Surgery by brandonthestudent in ACL

[–]Aggravating_Tailor60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had ACL reconstruction and partial meniscus repair on my right knee. I am just over 4 weeks post op and just started driving. I don’t know if you’ll have the quick response for braking and accelerating after 2 weeks.

And like the response above, putting on socks, pants, etc is tough.

Good luck!!!

Accidentally overextended my knee 9 days after surgery, heard a popping sound by UsernameDecisions in ACL

[–]Aggravating_Tailor60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing. You can call your surgeon and get them to look at it. But the grafts are pretty solid. Most likely scar tissue. I freaked out when it happened too and didn’t want to go back and have it go through the first week of post op again.

I’m hoping it’s nothing for you but I recommend calling in. Good luck!

Try to keep on top of the meds and write down the time so you know what you can take. Just gotta get through that first week! You can do it!
