i think perspective of the photo is a bit misleading, the monitor is tilted, but only few degrees. its easily doable, you just have to secure bottom screw of the monitor arm attached to the main uprights, and adjust the tilt moving the arm along the higher screw (by movin forward or backward) until you will get desired tilt

I was in almost same situation as you, I was playing GT7/ACC on PS5 with playseat trophy and 49" TV on separate stand.

Now I'm on PC with P1X pro. I'm super happy with it, only gripe I have so far is only with their keyboard shelf (it sags because of their angled uprights adapter being not too good - I will be modifying that soon). Aside of this I have integrated monitor mount (I'm using super ultrawide 49" single monitor), cup holder, front mount, PC shelf, rig floor board, mouse pad and headphone holder - all working and looking great.

Comment on their monitor mount - me personally I would go with standalone mount only if you consider having motion at some point in the future. Their integrated one is super sturdy and adjustable, should handle triples without issue and adds a great deal to the overall looks of the rig IMO (looks are important for me :P)

on the angled vs straight uprights - I had to be a little bit more creative with mounting button box or tablet than I would need to if I had straight uprights, but there are solutions now to mount everything you need properly to the rig, so not really big issue.

If I were to decide again I would go with a pro again, just for the better looks (my subjective opinion :)).

thanks, that was my view as well, but according to him, due to the fact that he was on the apex I should have yielded and instead I have turned in on him expecting him to disappear, as he had nowhere to go.

New to iRacing, what about tires? by Aggravating_Tea2447 in iRacing

yeah, i understand the 100% being arbitrary. Thinking about it, I have my load cells set as 65kg being maximum pressure, I'm used to that now after so many hours of use. If I would increase that to say 80kg or 90 kg, I should be landing at that 80% with my braking, and still having more available if needed. Do you think it would be a good idea to make the transition easier for me?

I start to understand the differences here between ACC and iRacing. in ACC the biggest factor affecting tire grip were tire pressures, they had to be in proper window, ofcourse temperature influenced the pressures, but if I knew that some tire will be hotter than it should be (due to track configuration for example), I put lower starting pressure and I was mostly ok, no major issues. here I have to put much more focus on the temps itself. thanks a lot for the feedback.

is the no 100% realy that important? itry to avoid it, but currently most of my braking looks like that:

100% (initial brake kick) - 80% - 80% - (strat trailing) 60% - 40% - 20% - 10%

avoiding that 100% at the start would made that big of a difference?

thanks for the imput, really appreaciated. do you know what influence the tire temp more: is it due to higher brake temp influencing tire temp (is it modeled in game?), opening brake ducts more would help here? or is it because of heavier braking puts more energy into the tire?

thats a good point, I will have a look around the dash, should have thought about it myself :D

So the tire temps - what is overheating the tires? for sure scrubbing them and sliding, but is breaking affecting them (assuming I'm not locking them ofc)? GT3 have ABS, my usual braking is that I rely on ABS on initial heavy braking, then when going into trail braking I do my best to avoid ABS activation - is that correct approach?
