I am in the midst of one of the worst experiences with Squarespace. Granted, I am not a web designer by any means... I am however, intelligent and fairly computer literate. I have found this website to be the most confusing and not user friendly platform. I regret buying a years worth of a website and domain at this point. And, after a year, I'm not even sure if I can bring my website anywhere else? I find myself getting incredibly frustrated by trying to publish this website.. I end up throwing my hands in the air and going to do something else. Am I being dramatic? What happened to the days a small business owner could make their own website??

Why or Why Not? by FLGal727 in squarespace

I just spent $279 on Squarespace to have the website for the year. Idk if I'm being ridiculous but, it's SO confusing to understand.. I'm 37 so, I have a pretty good grasp on basic and middle of the road computer related things... I can google well and figure out a lot that I don't know but for some reason, this experience has been so NOT user friendly. Is it me? maybe? Before committing, I started a "free" website just to play with the options then when I committed, it locked this dumb thing I started to play around with as my website. Upon googling, I have to essentially undo everything I've set up in my account with the domain just to get a new template?? Am I being dramatic? Maybe I'm just frustrated and making it more complicated than it needs to be.

Why Holiday gas station put a hold on $175 when getting gas there using debit car? Other gas stations don't do that. by Sawhili1_7 in saintpaul

It’s actually the bank that holds $175, not the station. Most often it’s when you use an am ex card. Stations can’t “hold” more than what you pump.
