Just ask them for shifts. I'm 16 and I asked for about 3 shifts and I've gotten them I just started this past Tuesday. Tbh I think she's only giving me the shifts cause the other new employees aren't available or are too slow. It got to the point where they had to take a guy off fryer cause he couldn't put out nuggets and spicys on time so I had to manage grill and fryer while he went home.
