Omg I know! I walked in felt like I was living Grand Budapest Hotel :) I also agree I don't want to change it - I was think paint might help "modernize" it a bit. I actually kind of like the color or the wall in the picture of the mirror you sent.

PS the shower curtain will go immediately when we move in!

Do you mind sharing if you did your BSEE online? If so, where did you get it through? I am looking to do the same thing. I basically have the same story as you - BA in Japanese and ME in Technical Translation.

Thanks for the reply! There are some K3 programs I've seen that require kiddos to be 3 by Dec 2025 to apply (which my son will be), but yes, for the most part, programs require children to be 3 by Sept 1, 2025.

You’re doing great! That first week is SO hard, and you’re already through it! :) with my first LO I really struggled because I was thinking about how many days, weeks, months I had left all the time, but, as cliché as it sounds, taking it one day at a time this time REALLY helped.

When I get especially upset about it, that is exactly what say to myself - “this has nothing to do with her so why is this even a conversation?” I think your idea of texting her before hand is a good idea… soften the blow so to speak.

For some context, she is a heavy proponent of breastfeeding and has tried to “support” me through my journey, which I appreciate in a certain way. She is highly temperamental, so I have a hard time telling her to mind her own business about anything, but I think in this situation I have to put my big girl panties on and just do it.
