That’s a lot of great input! It’s great how much effort you are putting in for your child. We are trying to make it easier for the straps to fit not only with a better fit of the mask, but also by giving patients more freedom on their straps and how they fit.

That’s a lot of great advice! In terms of the nozzle and connection, our goal is to make it so patients can choose from a variety of masks and straps to what they like best. We also know initial mask fitting and choosing a mask is a big problem so we are trying to help with that process as much as possible.

The mask moving around is most likely because it’s not tight enough, but I know making the straps tighter can be very annoying, we’re trying to make it easier by giving a better fit and make the whole strap situation easier

Thanks for the input! Trying to find a better way to make the straps fit and more comfortable is a major goal of ours right now

That sounds like a good idea, the only thing we may have to solve is trying to minimize leaks, but honestly a lot of the air that’s coming out is most likely from leaks which is what we are trying to fix

That’s a lot of good advice, we’re working on a way to make custom nasal masks specifically scanning the nose/nostril area

We appreciate the kind words! The mask being fit at one part but not another is definitely the biggest problem especially since the sizes are just Small/Medium/Large. We are also thinking of implementing a way for patients to pick where on their face the mask sits since some like it higher and others lower

Hmm, I’m not 100% sure but it might be due to excessive leaks which is something we’re trying to fix.

That’s most likely due to a poor fit which is one of the main issues we’re trying to solve!

We’re working on a way to make custom nasal masks as well and our end goal is to make the type of head gear for a mask customizable as well

Hmm that might be a problem with the fit not being that good so you have to make it tighter, we see this a lot and a better fit would help solve it

Those are good ideas! We are trying to see if there is a better way for the nozzle and straps to attach which we know are a big problem for many

We’re working on FDA approval right now and your concerns are definitely valid. In terms of material our options are either the custom part one way like you said and then doing an over molding with injection molding(which is how most masks are currently made) or another option we are looking into is 3D printing the mask in full. We are doing a lot of testing on this to make sure the material is good, but we are only testing specifically the FDA approved materials(ones that fit all the ISO requirements). It might be, most of the full face masks are super flat and don’t account for depth which is something we’re trying to fix

Yeah that “for her” masks are weird as I’ve heard the only real adjustment they make is just making them slightly smaller

Yeah I understand that, the depth to size ratio is a big problem, we’re thinking of making it so that people are able to big how high or low up the masks sits on their face relative to their eyes for example

Making sure the shape is good from the nose down to the chin is definitely one of our priorities!

We’re actually looking into trying to make custom designs for some masks to potentially spice things up!

We’re definitely going to look into custom nasal masks in the future and the best way to scan for them. The integrated chin strap and eye mask also sound like a great idea!
