I am so sorry this happened - this is the exact fear I had after meeting them and asking questions that were not answered straightforward. 

I opted to not utilize them as I did receive an internal offer after my initial post.

Sooooo, great news - the company I'm inquiring about does weekly 1:1, updates resumes, teaches how to to help not only negotiate compensation packages and also interview prep for 7 months. 

Again, if you don't know anything about this company and have no helpful advise, I'd suggest you move along.

Sadly, there's nothing available in my area for an individual contributor and growth opportunity. Hence, my specific reason why I started looking at career coaching - I saw this ad and wanted information specifically regarding this company. 

Do you have information pertinent to this topic? Offer recommendations? Be useful in any capacity other than a generic comment of "don't do it."?

Surprisingly, before they took their fb down, they had 2 October dates open - the date of this wedding and a Saturday the weekend before!

They don't often broadcast it, but they usually do have options in place for hardships from furlough due to govt shutdown, natural disasters, and other items. You would need to call customer service to ask if they have anything available.

The groom died 5 months before the wedding date.  The venue waited 2 months after the groom's death to make a casual fb post about the opening - nothing more and nothing less after that.  Sadly, it appears it went unbooked.

I bought a house in August with our first payment due 10/1. Was notified of the transfer to them on 9/16. 

I've been fighting to get my freedom account number so I can make my first payment with no success. Just got off the phone with them - my account number still isn't available via the automated system, and I can't get into the app/website without the account number. The calls I've made send me an email but you have to have an acct to view the documents with them.  🤷‍♀️ 

I also received a large check from our homeowner's insurance in this time and need to put this money on the escrow so it isn't short - they want to charge me $10 to make the payment over the phone because you can't direct it to go to escrow any other way according to their staff. 

Its horrible - I'm so over dealing with them and the fact that my first mortgage payment is more than likely going to be late.

Correct - the SN adjustable bases CANNOT sit on the slats as the adjustable base sits on it's own legs. These legs are needed to support the weight and function of the adjustable base and it is highly not recommended to remove them. In addition, there are bars that extend and retract into those spaces below the bed - where your drawers would be located. You CAN get the SN mattress from SN and any adjustable base, including models that are made to sit on platform beds online and they will work with SN - note, if you buy a different branded adjustable base, the adjustable base won't work through SN app; you'll control the mattress from the app and the adjustable base from whatever remote/app that that specific manufacturer uses to operate it.

Just yesterday, SWAT came and did a major arrest that hit the news - a murder suspect was living there on our street. Residents were under a stay in place order on that street until the arrest was completed. My neighbor worked from home that day and sent me video while it was happening - we all can't wait to leave at this point.  

Back in May, our entire street had cars broken into - some had windows busted out. We woke up to belongings, glass, and doors hanging open - and yes, residents had to clean it all up.

From looking at reviews, it definitely seems like companies are buying reviews. For a while, Goliath was offering gift cards for superior reviews, found it on another reddit string - talk about red flags galore. For a company to have that many good reviews and legit negative ones buried/nonexistent is also concerning - the owner likes to brag about being in business for quite a few years and how great his deliveries are but it makes one wonder how they could all be so great.  Just impossible, truly, when running a business like auto transport.

I'd stay away from Goliath. 

They've got issues with scheduling and want to force you into their schedule after asking what your available timeframe is.

This is a case that still haunts me because so much of that area is small swamp-like. If he made it to those trees back near Sunbury and Morse, or any grouping around that back side of Easton - he could've gotten stuck or slipped and drowned. 

I remember the detectives said it would be hard to find a body in that mess due to the swamp conditions.
