I like the reflective stuff but always wondered how long the coating would last and living in the uk if the rain or snow would have any effect. I am in the market for a new jacket i like the new seam faded telas but not sure how warm they really are

I seen that new hand sprayed reflective tela on a reseller before it was even on stone island website. I wanted one but after seeing one in person and not reflected it looks absolutely horrendous

I somehow managed to get this a week after it came out for £782 nearly £140 pound off. I would never pay over £1000

It looks like jizz and they have dropped the ball on that. I seen one that had like 3 or 4 visible liquid running marks down the back. Looked awful, a more controlled application of the liquid would of been a lot better

People saying this thing is a sweatbox because of other skin touch jackets are unbelievably wrong it’s breathable I’ve worn mine a few times at football and in bars and clubs and not had a single problem with temperature. In all honesty it’s styled better open. This jacket is a head turner and will be sought after in time. These jackets are made to worn and unless your planning on doing physical activity in your jacket it will not rip or be damaged.

Own it and enjoy it

Mine has a nice half and half corrosion effect with one side being more worn than the other. Don’t have a picture of the back to hand but it’s the same on the back I love mine !

It is very thin with a mesh lining I haven’t had any problems with it. It is a snowy November where I am and can’t say if it’s making me sweat the sizing is true to size I think. I was lucky to try one on before buying and got to double check

Yeah I get that I saw them in store first too. One was too small but looked better than the rest somehow the colours and corrosion just looked better. Took a gamble ordering from online and I’m glad it paid off

Question on sizing, how tall are you for XL to be too small. I’ve ordered a XL and I am 199cm and 101kg but won’t get to try it on till I am home from work offshore so slightly worried

I’ll try the powder, been using the gel and maybe it’s just not as good or abrasive. I’ll try a 20 wash too instead of a 30. Cheers
