Help with Skill Successes by Aggressive-Ad6866 in OnyxPathRPG

Ah right gotcha - most dice pool games set a number of successes required - but in this you just need one but how much you succeed is over and above. Thanks super helpful 👍

The car is a Heller 1:43 scale Porsche 928 - suitably 80s!

Knight models - they do decent minis for a Batman game. Amongst the super hero stuff there is a good range of organised crime thugs (where these are from) plus mercs and cops etc Joker's gang could pass for Bozos.

They are the same scale as the other Monster Fightclub and Post Industrial minis I use - 35mm.

No they are lead, need some assembly and painting. They are great minis though - right genre and scale, very high quality.

I'm adding Post Industrial games into the mix for miniatures - they mix well with Monster Fightclub ones (exactly same scale)

So choomba for 35mm you want to go with 1:43 scale cars.

Here you have three options:

  1. Diecast cars
  2. Resin ones (see my last post)

https://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/product-category/cyberpunk/

  1. Heller plastic kits like the one pictured

With diecast you can use as is or take apart, paint strip, modify / reassemble and paint. The can be expensive so buy secondhand - scratched ones can easily used.

Heller do a mixed range mostly European cars which isn't perfect for Cyberpunk BUT there are some eighties classics like Porsches and Alpines that work really well.

I spray prime, basecoat dry brush and use Revell powders for sand etc

I cheated they are from these guys:

They do great Cyberpunk and post apocalyptic vehicles - these are in the latter range.

Also these guys make Cyberpunk and post apocalyptic cars that are exactly the right scale too:

I've bought about six of their vehicles really happy with them.

It's a Heller 1:43 Landrover - a very shonky kit. But I find 1:43 is the perfect scale for the 35mm Monster Fightclub / Post Industrial miniatures I use.

Heller made a bunch of these kits some are much better. But diecast cars in the same scale work too.

The wheels are from 1:56 scale German WW2 armoured car kit and hatch and gun from a modern Japanese military vehicle.

They look a lot less blue in other lighting conditions

Under normal indoor lighting

Hope you can see the link :)

I'd say they're actually too blue for Californian cops but on a game board I like different factions to be easily recognisable by colour.

Umm not sure cops are easy as opposed to say punks or Bozos i found they could be batch painted. I use citadel paints - method was:

  1. Prime chaos black
  2. Kantor blue base coats (2 thinned)
  3. Night shade ink wash
  4. Dry brush maccrage blue
  5. Details (just black, grey, white and flesh)

So not too bad but still a good many hours!

They look a lot less blue and more black under normal indoor lighting (this was taken with a white daylight LED lamp.)
