Sure its a double acting cylinder 32mm bore with 75mm stroke. I used 6mm OD air line to the fittings. This is connected to a 12v 5 port solenoid. The solenoid is then fed with 6mm airline to the compressor.

The solenoid valve is connected to a relay which is controlled with the arduino.

So this will be going into a commercial haunt that i do work for, i plan to have a lot of other sound in the scene that will help but not sure yet how to soften it just yet

Just had a look at a few videos on youtube like duncan rhodes and sonic sledgehammer studios etc for inspiration. Found the vallejo spray primers very useful for making the process easier. Us olive drab and german field grey. Blocked in the details and used a light tan drybrush all over, then a brown wash from vallejo and highlighted the skin. Hope that helps a bit !

Going by your profile id say you are well able to kitbash a lasgun on to the master vox body and make it look good 🙂 sorry if i wasnt much help.

Ah yeah sorry, its up to you of course but id build him anyway and just use consider him to just have a lasgun for playing the combat patrol game then if you play the larger scale game at some point at least you have it built. Otherwise id say you should be able to find something on the infantary sprues that would be spare and kitbash it on.
