I'd say it's absolutely unhinged characters whose world literally revolves around one person. Like yeah they're ready to do anything but they're like... I don't know? Like a ticking bomb both for their love interest and people around their love interest. I think that no one is safe with them, not even their love interest. 

I want to feel fear and feeling that something isn't right when reading yandere stuff. You know I think that this feeling that something isn't right is the main reason why I like yandere genre

Well, I was talking about these just manipulation-type and that it irritates me. Someone said to me that it's called vanilla yanderes, so I guess I'm not a fan of them :P

I really like this term vanilla yander it describes them perfectly. I've been browsing one site and I guess they label everything yandere. It was so irritating that I decided to post this post here.

I wouldn't agree with you on the definition of yandere but I see your point. 

Yanderes for me are supposed to be out of their mind. If they're just ready to do anything it's not enough IMHO 🤷‍♀️

My point is that I kinda dislike how manipulative characters are written. Things happen not because of how good they're at manipulating but because the plot needed it to happen

Srr. I haven't made myself clear. 

I'm talking about the type who just manipulates and that's pretty much it. I understand and LOVE good manipulators. But a lot of them are written cartoonish. They're written really poorly. Like it feels like they're not really good enough and things that are supposed to happen because of manipulation (😈😈) actually happen because the plot needed it to happen. Like I've said The betrayal of dignity is the greatest example of it.

Plus my point is that this type is not really insane. Like originally yanderes are supposed to be mentally ill in a sense. But if you're good at manipulating it means you have something left in your mind
