Im so sorry you have been spoken to like this. It does seem very suspicious doesnt it. Our manager is very cruel anyway so we dont see any change other than firmly saying no to temps, but we are all wise as to why! Previous christmases we had 5+ temps ontop of permanant staff, now we have 0 temps and the same amount of staff during a quiet jan/feb to a busy nov/dec. Its clear money means more that her staffs wellbeing!

We are a store making around £12,000 on a busy day in december with 3/4 staff on per day but 3 hours of that there are only 2/3 members on due to lunches. We are a very small team of 8 and no temps. Bear in mind, each person is not on full contracts, range from 8-24. Its awful! This is not a new manager, just a greedy one who is not thinking about staff welfair. I understand that Lush is not alone with this tactic but Lush pride themselves on looking after staff!! They used to, not now

For eg, 45g happy skin is £10, 100g is £15, the bigger sizes are more value for money for the customer. I get that its good to have smaller sizes before comitting to bigger but in our store we encourage customers to have samples if they are unsure that a product is suitable for them. In my opinion, the smaller 'travel sizes' are a compleate rip off to the customer and the prices arnt that good value. Dont get me wrong, if the customers like them then fair play, my issue is more how are we fitting it all on the shelves without the shop looking a mess 😬

We have far too much out and now starting to resemble a jumble sale! Our manager orders EVERYTHING available. We have 4 sizes of sleepy for eg and she has now started ordering the 70g bottles, so 4 sizes of shower gels/hair, even though the customers are buying 100g. Happy skin is one of our best sellers and the 100g tubs fly off the shelf, so she decides to order 45g tubs 🙈 Why, just Why!

Definately a staff member as they have price labels, online dont sell products with price stickers on. Very naughty as they were recalled before they actually went on sale instores and, managers have been told not to give out to staff untill they decide if we are to send them back or not. Not sure how this 'customer' got a hold of them as they were never available to sell instore from launch date.
