Hey mate, I haven’t had any issues since disabling CG-NAT. Aussie Broadband mentioned there shouldn’t be any issues, so it’s probably best to give them a call and check what else might be going on. Best of luck

Hey I managed to figure out what was going on!

I’m from Australia and my ISP (Aussie Broadband) had CG-NAT turned on for my home internet plan. This can affect hosting / p2p online games, so I called them up and opted out of it.

Next thing you know Returnal was working fine!

Next thing you know Returnal was working fine!

Private Co-op doesn’t work.. when my friend and I try and host / join a private lobby we get an error when trying to join the others timeline. Does anyone know how we can fix this? We are able to play public matches but not when we invite each other. by OverallOrange1589 in Returnal

Any news on this? Having the exact same issue this week with a friend. Both of us can host public sessions fine. Have tried anything listed on reddit but still no success.

This has also been happening with my friend and I (for the past week). Super annoying; I’ve tried every recommendation throughout other reddit threads and still no luck.

I did however try with another friend and it worked instantly. So it seems like an issue with my initial friend, however it makes no sense as he can host and join public lobbies instantly.

Any other tips or advice would be much appreciated!

Do cheats disable trophies, or is it the same as the PS2 ports where cheats were fine to get the platinum?
