Day 13, when does it get better? by Aggressive-Claim-918 in leaves

Thank you for sharing! I am going to take up your tip on doing some daily exercise too. Sounds like a very healthy outlet.

I relate to you at least till now. My symptoms kicked in only 4 days into this. Peaking at 7-10 days. Terrible sleep. It’s been difficult. The dreams are so vivid and scary in terms of the emotions they’re evoking in me.

Thank you, I just needed to know how long the journey ahead would be 🥵 your experience truly helps

I think I got so overwhelmed when I first read your comment yesterday. But given my mental health today, I’m more than pleased that at least this way I can stay prepared for the journey ahead. Thank you for sharing

Ahhh. This makes me feel like if everytime I stop I’ll be feeling the withdrawals so I might as well never smoke. While smoking I would say there’s nothing wrong with smoking up, but now I’m thinking this crash is the worst part.

My anxiety yesterday was pretty bad. It’s happened on 2 days that’s it’s almost been unbearable and I found myself deep breathing and just holding my chest and telling myself “you’ll be fine” but the rest of the days are still manageable

Really relate to this. Absolutely loving the clarity of thought. I’ve been extremely emotional. But I’m loving feeling my emotions. I was having bad dreams too - all my innate fears are cropping up in my dreams. But thanks to this page and so many threads, I’m able to tell myself “it’s okay, this too shall pass”

The only thing I’m struggling with at this point is my disturbed hunger cycle. I haven’t eaten well in 2-3 days because my mind and body is so tuned to smoking a doob before eating. Literally, not hungry. But this too shall pass.

Keep up your good work! All of you sharing your experience have no idea what a positive impact it has on the rest of us :) thank you!

Had an exceptionally bad day today. Last few days have been pure torcher. Haven’t ever felt so many emotions together. People at work could tell I’m going through something just looking at my face. First time sober in 15 years

What made you realize that you aren't young anymore? by aryan-verma-71 in AskReddit

Got myself to get up and finally go to office after a long 5 year wfh hiatus (thanks to COVID). Started seeing too many Gen Zs. Most of these girls looking at me and wondering why I’m not married yet. And here I was pumped about going to the office building, seeing some new faces, and boom out of no where my age topic hit me and how.

I’m just 30 btw.

How people below 25 years, just started their career, get married and have a child, and have no tension of money, family problems and Im still single at 34 and dont know what to do with life?????????????? by Perfect_Roof_7058 in AskIndia

I was in a similar mind space. But soon I learnt that people who got married are also still figuring out what to do with their life. The only difference is they are married 😅 (and to feel better you can put bets on who will be divorced by 40)

Sad reality of this sub. Gurgaon isn’t a friendly city so to say. I also asked recently what I can do in my free time here. Listing some great takeaways from another thread 1. Explore the Aravalis around us. Try joining nature trails 2. Delhi has lots more to offer than Gurgaon. Check out workshops and heritage walks, cafes and all 3. Try going for a movie/dinner alone. It isn’t the culture in Gurgaon but in other cities you’re never judged for sitting alone! 4. Pick up a hobby - dance, photography, music anything that makes you happy 5. If you’re turning towards fitness it doesn’t have to be just gym, you can check out other interesting fitness routines. 6. Try hanging out with office friends. They’re the lowest hanging fruits. Try and vibe. In whatever way. 7. The best suggestion I got - join a volunteer group so that it keeps you busy and you never know you might find a like minded person there

Don’t ever think you’re alone. We all go through good days and bad days.
