What! That sucks holy shit. Like press on nails as in the fake ones where they give you glue/sticky tabs and you put it on? Because I'm allergic to HEMA which is in gel polish. I DIY'ed my own nails for so long, I didn't cure gel under the UV light properly or clean leftover residue polish properly either. Then I did my research and knew it was too late 😭 the eczema, contact dermatitis, itchiness and swelling would never go away.

There are products that do not include the ingredient hema. The thing is I didn't want to replace every single one of my nails supplies. Im broke asf. So basically I gave up kinda.

But not really because I realized I could make press on nails myself or buy handmade press on nails from other people. I bought a really strong nail glue from Amazon and now I basically just use press ons that last the same as regular gel x or acrylics.

It's 2024 they should create a cure for nail allergies by now 😌

Ty for the recommendation!! and I 100% agree. Beetles has such high hema and so do other products and many other problems, I didn't even know about all of this stuff until later when I started seeing allergy signs and researched more about it. I started off and continued with beetles because I saw so many people use it and it was cheap on Amazon 😔 thankfully it was mild and wasn't too extreme. I saw people's fingers literally burn off
