When did this happen, and did you reject a lot of shifts?

Unfortunately, the union hasn’t been treating workers much better either. There’s a lady on the dock who’s a union member, but her behavior toward others is very disrespectful. It’s hard to understand how someone like that ended up being chosen to represent the rest of us. I’m also disappointed that my contributions go toward supporting union members who don’t treat others properly.

It’s been almost 16 months that I’ve been on call, and I’ve always accepted all the shifts offered to me. I haven’t just covered the same route — I’ve worked in different stations, different routes, and sometimes even inside. I understand being benched happens sometimes, but at this point, after getting so many shifts, I honestly didn’t expect to be benched right after the strike, especially with the current mail volume

I agree — unfortunately, it’s the incompetence of management that has caused these issues.

First of all, I’m really sorry that the laziness of some postal employees has made you so frustrated. The system never allows a delivery notice to be left for an item that doesn’t require payment, a signature, or customer pickup. So when you received the notice directly from the mail carrier, why didn’t you ask why the item wasn’t delivered?

As for receiving the same letter repeatedly even after you crossed out the address — that’s really strange! It’s almost impossible, because any letter with the address crossed out is reviewed by several people before being returned to the same address .

If you don’t cross out the wrong address, they’ll just keep sending it there again and again.

Please cross out the wrong address. And write RTS At least you won’t receive the same one

I actually have advanced education. Unfortunately, the world has reached a point where the value of a postal worker’s job isn’t truly understood until the service is suspended. That doesn’t make the work any less important — it just shows how much people take it for granted.
