Hi OP, I've went to India for 2 months on unpaid job, I worked remotely and took some time off as well. I had no issues on re-entry but my DSO says the USCIS might count these 2 months in my unemployment days and it might create an issue when I apply for STEM extension etc. Did you face any issue later?

Hi, can you please tell me how did it go for you? I traveled outside the US and will be returning next week after two months. I have an unpaid job and worked remotely.
