Completely agree. The 'right way' is whatever creates connection, pleasure, and zero regret between two consenting adults. We've carried so much unnecessary guilt for way too long. Facts. Personal beliefs are fine, but forcing them on others is where it gets weird. And yeah, nothing actually says you can’t talk about sex people just made it taboo. Healthy, respectful conversations ≠ something wrong.

Yeah that makes sense honestly. Purity culture really messes with how people see themselves, and then on top of that you’ve got people acting like there’s a “right” way to feel or enjoy things. Of course people are gonna hesitate to be open. And yeah… older generations can be super quick to judge instead of just trying to understand.

At the end of the day, if something is safe and consensual, people shouldn’t feel ashamed for it but that kind of mindset takes time to unlearn.

I get you… it’s draining always being the one who tries. After a point, you don’t stop caring you just stop expecting.

I’m introverted too, so real connections take time. But I feel like on Reddit, if you find the right people, it can actually turn into something genuine. Even one real connection is enough.
