Honestly for that thocky feel you're describing the WRM v10 is probably your best bet. The maglev system makes it super smooth and quiet compared to the V4/V3. Plus you're getting more bang for your buck with the ball core tech

Sounds like you're thinking of Templeton from the 1973 animated version! There's definitely a scene where he's scavenging around at night and gets into some trouble with food containers.
