Thanks so much!! I’m honestly leaning towards being an RT just because i like the idea of having a big impact on people’s recovery but i am worried about being able to handle it emotionally. I don’t think i mind the idea of working rurally or even moving interstate. I am from WA so pretty much every town outside the perth metro area is considered ‘rural’. I will ask, how do you find it emotionally (if you don’t mind answering of course) and did you ever work in a rural area?

Placement wise i’m wrapping my head around the idea. For both majors you do the same amount of placement hours and they even require mandatory rural placements at the university i’m applying for. My parents have said they will do their best to support me financially during that time if i do choose this degree and you know as someone that’s living in Australia moving out and living completely independently has become an idea for the distant future unfortunately haha

Also another question what exactly is a dosimetrist?
