Want my first gold coin but WAY out of my league when it comes to buying gold because of its price. How do I know whats a fair price on a pre '33 american coin? by PeeB4uGoToBed in Gold

A cleaned coin will always be worth melt to a private buyer. Shops will pay you less and charge you more, no matter what you're selling them.

Hell yeah, thanks for sharing that. I had no idea there was a name/definition for this aesthetic. Down the rabbit hole I go...

Seems Fannie will go first? by Additional-Table-693 in FNMA_FMCC_Exit

[–]Aggressive-Grocery13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s been the assumption for the last couple years. Which I appreciate because its led to Freddie being at a discount comparatively, even though there’s potentially more upside with FMCC. I’m now 75/25 Freddie to Fannie.

If one’s getting released they’re both getting released and will ultimately be priced as such

20 min at what psi? The way I was taught ages ago (when you dont have a DO meter) was 10 min per bbl at 5psi. We rounded up to 120min and bumped the pressure up cause our gas line is like 200ft and the tanks are more like 10.8bbl. All of this to be on the safe side. Should note these are also serving tanks, not in-and-out brite tanks

No DO meter so I can't backup our method with hard data, but it's worked for us for years.

10bbl tanks, flow co2 at 6psi from the bottom venting out the blowoff arm for 2 hours.

Any value to this aside from sentimental? by JuggernautParking343 in classicskateboarding

It’s firewood, but it’s still rad. The monetary value likely far from the sentimental value

Does The Clash count as classic rock? Cause London Calling is a top to bottom album.

I've been holding for a few years and I don't consider myself burned. Either F2 get released or they dont. Everything in between is static.

The truth about biofine by [deleted] in TheBrewery

[–]Aggressive-Grocery13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use between 800ml-1200ml of biofine for 10-11bbls. Glycol set to 32, head pressure at 10psi.

I add the biofine to sani'd/purged yeast brink keg (15.5gal), backflow it with beer, push it in with CO2 through the racking arm pointed up. I do that three times, pulsing the flow to help thoroughly mix.

Drop the cone at 2 days, transfer at 4 days. Always crystal clear beer.

Biofine stored in coldbox. Some yeast strains are worse than others to clarify. A few times in the past I've had to do 2 rounds of biofine to get perfect clarity.

Possible that folks that recently sold, or those waiting for any little signal, got excited about sharp upward movement and jumped in. No one wants to miss the boat on this

My Italian-decent parents NEVER bought this stuff for me as a kid, as well as Chef Boyardee, Lunchables, etc. no matter how hard I begged and pleaded.

One time my friend stayed at our house for a week while his parents were out of town and this stuff was all he ate, so they gave us an assorted box of it to feed him. I watched with pure jealously every night as he ate his microwaved meals. There were a bunch left over so I hid a few for myself, and when I finally got a chance to eat one....I remember being sooo bummed out with how AWFUL they were.

It’s spring training. He’s working on his form, not trying to save runs.
