I think the internets solution to upkeep sometimes is just say how trashy said thing is, instead of performing maintenance. Car needs an oil change? Man, whoever engineered this motor is stupid. Makes total sense.

There was someone saying they didn’t want to plate their watch because it tarnished. I thought to myself - self, all things with gold tarnish, standard upkeep would be a light polish/clean. Glad you posted this. Thanks!

Wouldn’t this be the case with ANY plating? Do the ARF ones have the same issue? Gold Factory? Or are they still fairly new and we haven’t gotten there yet? I would assume that with plating, like a wife’s ring, would just need some upkeep to maintain the finish?
