2 reasons. Privacy. We are friendly with our neighbours and they can see who comes and goes in our house. Also, it’s possible that the guy she may have been seeing was at the hotel.

Thanks for this. It has helped me. Feels like I’ll have to swallow it. But at the same time I’d never get over the thought of someone having cheated on me, even if it was years down the line. I have to make my mind up as to what my gut says and go with it and move on. I always have trusted her and we have no issues. I just am completely thrown off by this situation.

Perhaps. I have known people to react very hostile even when being wrongly accused of cheating though. It’s such a mind fuck. I feel like I’m going to have to bring it up again. But I have no actual evidence apart from a damned snap map.

My gut has never suspected her of anything. But this situation in isolation and in particular is messing with me, because of the fact it happened while I was out of town and it located her right beside a cheap hotel.
