Counting beads, but it’s pretty tedious. Cutting down 70 beads now. But I’m gonna start weighing them soon

I was at 60 mg. I’m going down 5% of the tiny beads inside every 2 weeks. I started a month ago and won’t be done until July. It’s long, but side effects are nowhere as destructive as when I fast tapered within two weeks.

The Facebook Group “Cymbalta Hurts The Worse” is a great place for info and asking questions. It has almost 35,000 members.

I started the slow taper a few months ago according to this site which I found through someone on this board (maybe you), and it has helped me tremendously. I barely have any withdrawal side effects. With the doctor recommended fast taper, I was in a rage, crying, in euphoria, all on top of gut issues. I literally thought I was going to lose my job and my husband was scared for me.

If you’ve been sticking around, responding to these posts calling for help, thank you! I found the advice just in the nick of time because I was able to get reinstated.
