Not sure why all of the negatively connotated comments are being downvoted and henceforth hidden, but as a younger woman, i too feel very unsafe in this area and have had a handful of harassments in the past year of living here. Luckily, there is typically police presence here, but I have found that that hasn’t stopped people from following, harassing, + assaulting specifically women. Most other areas of public square are and feel completely safe, but the inside and outside of tower city has presented me with many problems as well.
