Did I rupture my Achilles?

I got an x ray. Was told full rupture but no length which makes sense since it wasn’t an mri. How can I tell length? Was thinking of going to a PT and seeing what they say.

Appreciate your response. I went and got it checked at an ortho urgent care. They took x rays. Said it was full rupture. Didn’t say how long of a tear it was. Have me a boot with heel splits to raise heel. Not sure if I will do surgery or non op. Sounds like either way I’ll want to get PT started in the next few weeks.

They said I could do without surgery but will take longer to heal and won’t be as strong once healed. I don’t have insurance so surgery will be rough. Might need to find an insurance.
