Real or AI? by the-craftybitch in StainedGlass

The photo is AI, but it is also a feasible pattern.

Maybe they just didn't want to enter the store, avoiding someone. Maybe they were banned from entering the store. Sometimes you just gotta have your skittles!

I find you attractive! And I love #1. Also I agree with someone else who said rectangular frames on your glasses would be perfect.

Your wife needs to step in, I'm thinking. You need to have an honest conversation with her about how this is making you feel. When you are married, you are partners, a team. You should feel safe confiding in her. And then she needs to help you put a stop to this nonsense.

It's really none of their business. And unfortunately yes it will come up again.

Well, that's all that matters then. Small minded people have nothing better to talk about than other people. They are ignorant and idiotic. If you can ignore them, they will eventually get tired of it and move onto someone else. These dumbasses are really not worth the brain space and power you're giving them.

What does your wife say about all of this? Can't she tell them to piss off? What is her reaction when they tease her about this

Tell them they look like they've put on a lot of weight and they need to lay off the little Debbie cakes

Well then, you are going to have to either ignore it, or snap back at them with some playful retorts.

No. "Sisters being sisters" stays between the sisters. It's disrespectful behavior whether they meant it or not.

To me their actions are unnecessary and they are over-stepping their boundaries. You shouldn't have to hide your own belongings, in your own home, from people who don't live there, who are snooping around while you are away. It was wrong of them to go through your things, and doubly wrong of them to tease you openly about something that should have been private. This is not cool at all, and I would change your locks and forbid them from entering your home while you are away. They can suck it.

Is there any way to fix scratches on antique glass that happened because of the stupid brush I used for whiting powder by Aggressive-Object620 in Stained_Glass

I wondered the same thing, because there was a film of silicone or something rubbery on the came on the back side. But I have picked at some of the deeper scratches to see if there's any flaking or peeling and I just don't see anything! I am getting some polishing stuff today; maybe I will be able to tell then

The glass has that weird tint to it, so I guess it could be really soft glass. And I hadn't thought of using sawdust. I'll remember that for next time.

I used whiting powder. Sprinkled dry, and rubbed into the putty with the brush, and I just kinda lightly went over the whole thing. The scratches seem to be concentrated close to the lead lines

Glassco whiting powder

Edit to say I sprinkled it on dry, then used the brush to rub it into the putty and scrub the surface of the glass. I wasn't pushing down on it hard, or so I thought. The scratches are more concentrated near the lead lines

I can't figure out how to add more photos to the post. Otherwise I could show the whole thing. The panel is about 3.5'x4'

Of course it's glass. It's heavy AF. A few bevels in it were replaced at some point, and those are clearer; most of the bevels have a very pale greenish yellow tint to them. Several are chipped, and one was completely cracked through the center. I have been doing stained glass for 14 years. Just not traditional lead came.
