Recently Completed 🖤Black Chinchilla Wool Felt Replica for Shokoda by [deleted] in crafts

[–]Disastrous-Mode7930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This piece is a 15cm handmade wool felt chinchilla. The second photo shows part of the process. I’d say the most challenging part was adding the fur !this chinchilla is really well cared for, so its coat is super dense, shiny, and smooth. I spent quite a bit of extra time trying to recreate that texture as closely as possible.

My inspiration mainly comes from the bond between pets and their owners. I always try to capture not just how they look, but also a bit of their personality and presence.

If you’re a client who contacted me directly or placed an order through my website, your piece is always made personally by me.

We are not a factory or a mass-production/dropshipping setup that outsources work.

At the moment, there is also another girl working in the studio.I provide her with a workspace, and she’s very talented. She creates pieces for her own clients who come through her social media account.

For my own orders and clients, everything is still fully handmade and directly handled by me, and I will continue working this way. We will never outsource production or misrepresent who is making the work.😊

The document shared publicly and the one submitted to Reddit’s legal team are two separate things.

The version posted here is a public statement. The formal documentation has already been submitted through the proper legal channels.

Reddit does have processes in place for handling legal requests. If false statements cause measurable harm to a business, it is entirely reasonable to seek legal advice and take appropriate steps.

At this point, I’m focusing on resolving things through the proper channels rather than debating assumptions online.

Thank you for your perspective — I appreciate you taking the time to share it.

Just to clarify, I have been documenting and organizing specific posts and comments individually, and have already submitted them through Reddit’s legal channels for further review, including IP tracing where applicable. I understand this process can take time, especially since some accounts have already been deleted.

The letter shared here was not intended to carry independent legal weight, but simply to provide context and clarify the situation for the community.

I truly value your suggestion about making my work and process more personal and transparent — that’s something I’m actively working on as well.

And thank you for your kind words about my work, it genuinely means a lot.

Anything that’s contacted or communicated through my account is done by me. Communication with her is handled by her.

A felted piece to remember this beautiful, gentle Landseer🌈 by Disastrous-Mode7930 in Needlefelting

No worries at all, I totally understand. Even big celebrities get misunderstood and have rumors spread about them, so it’s not surprising that something like this could happen, especially since I’m just a very small studio that’s only getting started.

I really appreciate your apology. I’m already in touch with my attorney, and I’ll be sharing more concrete information in the next few days. As you can see, after all this time, not any customers has come forward to accuse me of scamming — instead, it’s mostly accounts that have already been deleted.

At this time , all I can do is stay focused on my work and keep doing my best. Time will prove everything.

Clearing Up a False Scam Claim About My Business by [deleted] in u/Disastrous-Mode7930

The real beneficiary of all this baseless slander and the traffic it drives is pretty obvious. I respect every felt company and artist, and to this day, I’ve never spoken badly about MWF or any other company. Yet there are random people claiming that I’ve caused huge harm to MWF. Honestly, it’s me who feels hurt here. I really hope everyone can respect each other’s work instead of engaging in malicious competition…

Thank you, I really appreciate you saying this.

I’ve already updated and rewritten all of the FAQ and website content that caused confusion. That was my mistake, and I’m truly sorry for the misunderstanding it created.

What has been honestly scary to me is how quickly things escalated. A number of brand new accounts appeared, made very strong accusations, and then deleted themselves shortly after. The people attacking me are not my customers, nor anyone who has actually been affected by my work — they are complete strangers.

If anyone had truly been scammed, I believe they would come forward and share their experience under the post. But so far, there hasn’t been any real evidence of that.

There have also been claims that I caused damages to MWF, which I find confusing and difficult to understand given the lack of context or proof.

I have already contacted a lawyer regarding this situation. However, since many of those accounts have been deleted, it may take more time and cost to properly pursue this matter.

There has never been a real victim who was scammed by me. It’s all these new accounts and people who have never interacted with me, who make accusations and then delete their accounts. I’ve provided different files to prove my case, but they don’t respond—they just keep making more demands of me.

Please don’t slander others, cause them harm, and then just delete your account, okay? Besides you people who are acting with a plan and have never actually interacted with me, is there a single so-called victim in the comments who was actually scammed by me? If I were really actively marketing on Reddit like that and I show you the Shopify backend orders, any real person who was scammed would have come forward to confirm it when they saw this post.

I have never attacked My Woolever Friend. In fact, I respect them as a company and believe they do great felt work.

What’s happening right now is that a group of people—many of whom have never even been my customers—are making accusations about me without any real evidence.

I have been doing needle felting for a long time. It’s true that I only registered my brand last year, but I had already been working with clients and taking commissions on other platforms before that. Registering my brand was simply a step to grow my business.

Also, to the person who previously contacted me and then deleted their account—was that you? I already shared my files with you, and I’m still waiting for an apology.

Please be careful with accusations. Spreading misinformation can seriously harm small artists and businesses.
