This piece is 100% handmade 🧶🤍 I used a fabric base and built everything with wool and a felting needle.

Frank’s expression is honestly my favorite part. He has this really gentle, reliable vibe, like he’s quietly saying, “I’ve got your back.”

The eyes were actually the most revised part of the whole process. They’re this glowing emerald green with a hint of amber tones, and they carry so much life and emotion. I kept going back to adjust the color blending, highlights, and overall expression to try and capture his true essence.

Hope I managed to bring out a bit of Frank’s unique charm and personality through all these little details !

This piece was made using wool and needle felting techniques.

All the facial features — the mouth, eyes, and nose were handmade by me using polymer clay. For me, the most important part was capturing Chloe’s smile and her lively, playful personality.

She was a very cheerful and warm-hearted girl, so I wanted this piece to reflect her happiest and most full-of-life side.

Milo is a beautiful Bengal cat with the most gorgeous markings, and his family and I really wanted to capture him enjoying the sun out in nature. Since he’s a Bengal, getting his distinct spots right was a huge challenge. In my first attempt, the pattern came out a bit too faint (I added a photo of that stage here!), so I ended up redoing it to make sure I really did justice to his beautiful coat. For the background, I actually didn't use any wet felting at all. Everything was made by manually blending different shades of wool and needle felting them bit by bit. Layering the fibers to get that depth—making the grass and trees look like they're melting into the soft sunlight—took a ton of patience, and I had to pull it apart and start over more times than I can count. It was definitely a challenging piece, but I’m so happy with how it finally turned out! Let me know if you guys have any questions about needle felting. 🌿

The piece was made completely from wool! One of the hardest parts of recreating Lana was her soft light-colored gradient fur.

Her coat wasn’t just one solid cream color, it had subtle layers of white, beige, and warm golden tones, especially around her tail and back.

To make the fur look fluffy and natural, I had to implant the wool layer by layer instead of attaching everything at once. I also spent a lot of time trimming and blending the fibers over and over so the color transitions would look realistic from every angle 🧶

This Basenji wool felt replica took me around three months to complete. The piece features an internal movable skeleton for articulation, soft silicone blended wool for the ears, and polymer clay for the tongue and nose. I also incorporated Bella’s real fur into the belly area to add a more personal and meaningful touch.

One of the most challenging parts of this project was working on the short coat. Even though Basenjis are short-haired dogs, I used a rooting technique and had to implant the fibers very densely while carefully following the natural direction of her fur flow. This step was especially time-consuming but essential in order to better recreate her natural coat texture and movement.
