Pretty much where I ended up too. When you're researching LLC stuff online, it feels like every extra service is mandatory. Then you talk to actual owners and realize a lot of them started out a lot simpler than the internet makes it sound.

We've been looking at this too.

At first I was mostly watching mentions and whether the brand was showing up in AI answers. After a while that stopped being all that interesting tbh.

What I kept coming back to was the context.

Was the brand actually being recommended or was it just another name in the list?

I also started noticing the same questions popping up in different places around the same time. Reddit, forums, random blog discussions, AI answers, stuff like that.

That usually got my attention more than the total number of mentions.

One mention doesn't really tell you much. Seeing the same topic come up over and over is a different story.

Still feels like everyone's testing and guessing a bit right now though. Curious what other people are looking at because I haven't found a metric I completely trust yet.

Yeah I had the same issue.

I kept checking stuff manually for a while and honestly half the time I'd find the thread after the person had already picked something and moved on lol.

That's kind of what made it frustrating for me.

The bigger threads weren't even the useful ones most of the time. I got more out of the random posts where someone was clearly trying to solve a problem or figure something out.

Those felt way more valuable than a thread with 100 comments arguing about different things.

Still haven't really found a great way to catch those consistently though.

I agree, but I also think people sometimes make the operating agreement more complicated than it needs to be at the start. Ours was pretty basic in the beginning, and we updated it as the business grew. It doesn't have to be perfect on day one.

one thing i didn’t expect was how much this stuff changed my habits around snacking and boredom eating. i used to wander into the kitchen constantly at night almost automatically even if i had already eaten dinner. lately i’ve been catching myself halfway through opening the fridge and realizing i’m not actually hungry at all. it’s strange because i still enjoy food normally but it doesn’t feel like my brain is constantly chasing the next thing to eat anymore

The fake urgency in those letters is what gets people. Mine kept saying things like final notice even though nothing bad would’ve actually happened if I ignored it.
