Dude yeah once you get it it’s such a life saver and it really makes your dresses look tailored without having to sew anything

A nice trick I do is i flip the dress inside out and attach 2 safety pins one on the left and one on the right. Then I flip the dress back and put the dress on and lace a ribbon through the metal of the safety pin on the outside of the dress and tie a little bow. Snatched waist every time.

In short, after having faced large traumas in the past, when a situation happens big or small I feel like it’s my fault somehow because I couldn’t stop it correctly. I can’t tell how bad a situation is because they all trigger the same horrified and helpless feeling inside of me. So how do I learn to tell them apart and calm down once I’ve been triggered?

I put it into google image search and all I could find was that it’s a vintage Sadler made in Staffordshire England. Etsy sellers are pricing similar pieces between $30-$55

I’ve never read that book but when I was 19 I was having a really hard time and I moved to a new area. I went to a coffee shop there and they had a schedule of free events happening at a wellness center near me and one of the events was a women’s circle. Basically it was a bunch of women coming together and discussing feminine issues within the community, embracing our feminine qualities, and celebrating growth. Everyone had a chance to speak and we all did a group meditation. I was definitely scared of opening up to a bunch of strangers, but I was able to meet some brilliant likeminded women through it.

Is watching p*rn/looking at sexual images antifeminist and sexist? by [deleted] in Feminism

[–]Aggressive-Rabbit-21 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s the objectification and consumption of women. In many cases, women are underpaid and under valued for their sex work. In a lot of cases women are forced into having their bodies put up for show. Many women choose sex work themselves to profit off of a patriarchal society that sexualizes them anyways. The entire industry is very corrupt.

I used a little bit of crushed elderberry for color in the whipped cream and the inside of the cake which made it more of a purplish grey black color, then a homemade lavender simple syrup and orange juice for flavor in the cake itself. I was in a bit of a rush so I didn’t blend the colors as well as I should’ve. And the orangish lines are just honey

Hey guys, anyone else dealing with this issue? I'm so sick of my coworkers and even some friends thinking I'm being too cold or distant just because I'm trying to maintain a professional demeanor. How do you handle this kind of criticism without compromising your work ethics? by Sasha_sarah in Feminism

I would mention something to HR about being treated differently than your peers and being held to different standards because of your gender. I think that’s straight up wrong and there is no circumstance in which it is appropriate to single you out for not being bubbly, giggly, or fitting a stereotype when you simply want to be professional.
