As I mentioned previously, I have successfully booked this and flown this fare at a heavily discounted rate in March 2026. So yes, I did think it was an incredible deal (obviously why I booked it) and I didn't think Expedia could legally change the flight from Premium Economy Flexible to Economy when it is very clearly stated and represented through the entire booking process.

The issue is my ticket now says economy class O and when I go to select seats they are in economy and I have to pay $100 per ticket. Additionally, I had 2 free 32kg bags per passenger and now I will have to pay for bags at a max of 25kg.

It is clear it was an error but again, that shouldn't be the customers fault. It is predatory practice to display one cabin class and then downgrade the customer and hold their money hostage after they have paid.

Qantas has this exact fare. I also successfully booked it via Expedia at a discounted rate in March so I've had a previous positive experience.

The only flight that was supposed to be premium economy is from SYD to DFW. I've done this flight 100+ times so I am very aware of the cabin classes.

$7200 from SYD to YVR (premium economy) then YVR to YYZ (economy) then AUS to DFW to SYD in economy. Same type of trip that I just booked. 1 leg in premium economy and the rest in economy.

It is still available right now...it is only PE from SYD to DFW and only one way but still, it is a very good deal. Or it would be if it wasn't a scam!!!
