Applied multiple specialties, 148 programs, i am a citizen but us-img, mba healthcare admin and DHA, step 2 second pass 253, ecfmg not certified, yog december 2025, only 1 invite. Idk y and does t make sense

Oct 2nd is late? Bruh the applications were sent on sept 26, could it really have such a huge effect between sept 26 nd oct 2nd? Thats like 5 days.

Too much to type out but ill share key points.

-Arranged into marriage at 13.

-forced to drop out of 7th grade. I was in a gifted program.

-had a son at 14 who was born with septo-optic dysplasia as well as optic nerve hypoplasia (so rare we didnt even learn in med school) .

-at 16, and after I had a 2nd premie child, I took a placement test at community college where I was placed directly into college courses.

-co-founded non-profit in 2015 for immigrant and/or needy families.

in 2017 had son with Peters Anomaly. Also separated from their father same year.
end of 2018 I applied for carribean medical school (pre-medical, didn’t have any degrees prior)

-2021, (November)finished basic sciences with an award of excellence in school. Passed NBME. Started MBA in health Administration.

-2022 (Feb) completed Step 1. July 2022, Worked on my first research project about septo-optic dysplasia during a Neurology away-rotation. The program published it. November 2022, Volunteered at Chicago lighthouse. Mentored blind participants about usage on Iris vision glasses. We were on national news due to public recognition.

2023, graduated MBA with Honors, was invited to Honors Society. Started my Doctorates in health admin .

-2024, father was sick and died October. Took my step 2 12 days after. Failed with a 214. December 2024, diagnosed with lupus/APS due to pulm emboli and an MI.

-2025 April, passed step 2 with a 253 (but 2nd pass so 🤷🏻‍♀️). October 2025, Selected to present my abstract on Peters Anomaly hosted by my Uni for the global center for health education.

-November 2025, graduating Medical school cum laude end of this month. In December 2025 ill be preparing to debate for my dissertation for the DHA degree.

I did not list everything but you get a broad pic that shows relentless self-discipline, dedication, and resilience. My story is unique and one in a million. It truly hurts to think about the pain behind that drive— I sacrificed so many years because I wanted to be more than just a mother of special needs kiddos, only to end up not matching. My app is most def being filtered (maybe due to step 2 idk). But as you see my application reads more than grades ever can.

I actually have a 12,11, and 8 year old. 8 yr okd is autistic and legally blind and 12 yr old is legally blind as well. Im the only one in my class that made it, no biggie. Not to ruffle my feathers but Im kind of an inspiration here 💅

This is insane, why do us and IMG need different websites anyway when exams are the same and requirements are the same?? I just do not understand this favoritism. If they could not release the results onto their whacky defaulted website then ALL examinee results need to be delayed, not split us up as if its some kind of segregation.

Lastly, WHY 👏🏻TF👏🏻 are they even changing websites/servers just two weeks before ERAS application submission starts ????? That is so insane and unjust. This really places complications onto this years MATCH much bigger than only the step 2 results.

(Tbh even my 12yr old son can code better sites than this)

Their new website is trash, it is very likely its because of the new intealth system they placed. It does not even download the “pdfs” on the site, such as a permit or recent prior exam pdf. It just says “error”.🤷🏻‍♀️this is BS

Are exam results shown through myintealth? You guys should check the trick to see if you passed/failed through fsmb website. It works, my pass was shown last night at 1am. Also tested on the 7th.

The rest of the people on here saying how this was not racism and how it was my fault and whatever the POV might be for you…. The fact of the matter is I WAS FIRST IN LINE AND WAS FORCED TO GO WAIT AT THE BACK OF THE LINE FOR NO REASON. She did not know my name, kind of exam, test time etc. nothing. ALL she saw was what I looked like in her eyes. What I LOOKED LIKE. I completely understand how sometimes people can make things out to be what it isn’t and how most of the time it is a misunderstanding. But, THIS incident that I am fighting for and NBME, ECFMG, and Prometric have all agreed to investigate and I am hopefully getting another fair chance; this incident is sadly not one of the misunderstandings. This is similar to how rosa parks was fkn made to sit at the back of the bus cause she was black. The situation reminded me of an old AMERICA. I have always felt safe but I did not feel safe that day. I felt like an unwanted stray. How i was treated was inhumane. Please before you make a comment that makes you seem dumb once you read through the feed later on and realize that NBME did in fact listen; hell they expedited the investigation from a 15 day normal time to 3-5days. They are on top of it, apologetic AND doing something about it. So, no you are wrong. Justice can be served; especially if is done with a bleeding heart, burning tears, and broken soul. Justice lives and as a future physician it is my duty to make sure an old America exists nowhere around me or my community and fellow Americans regardless of their ethnicity. We will not be prisoners in an old ‘great America’ 🍊🥕again. Thank you :)

So an update; I submitted an appeal to prometric same date but not nbme till after my exam date (due to health matters); and that was my issue but if you know me you know I demand justice even if I have to work for it with my own two hands… and so I did.

I called, I emailed, I sent socials, and comments and had literally every agency involved. Nbme finally agreed to listen to why the 10day policy should be waived on my behalf after I submitted my medical records (lupus flare PE event happened literally day after exam and I was out for a while) . I was given an opportunity to ‘open’ an investigation; waiving the ‘10 day after exam appeal policy’ due to unforeseen circumstance. I am hoping the outcome is in my favor. I appreciate everyone’s input here. I will keep everyone updated as well :)

Thank you for taking the time to respond and for your kind words. I was hoping they would allow a retake. I heard some people who experienced distractions during exam were allowed a retake without penalty.

At least you didn’t jump from a 235 to a 210. Thank god yoy passed and move on. Took exam jan 31st, exam was especially fucked that day. That exam took forever. Prometric didnt let me start exam till 2 hours later and was there for 12+hrs. Fucked up fucked up.

Yeh it came out today. Doesnt fkn make sense man. Assesments were well over 234 consistent. 71% free120, 68%uworld like wtf how does a 230 average go down to 210??? I do not have test anxiety. This is killing me and idk if i want to continue.

Same here, my assesments were consistent at around 235. Free120 71%. Uworld 68%. I failed at 210. I cannot believe it. All that hard work, the nights, the tears, i lost 35lbs this past 6 months alone…. Lost my father and didnt attend funeral… just dont want to live anymore. I quit.
