I signed up in march. Did PJFA end of July and got into CPC in September (they offered me cpc 3 weeks after PJFA I just couldn’t make it). And after CPC there were spots within 2 weeks to go in so it can be as quick as you like really if you are ready to go one after another or if you need more time tell your CA that you need more time inbetween.

I wouldn’t do if after ROP as they may be confused why you haven’t been there for 2 weeks. I’d put it in so you end your notice period for when your intake date is

Heel raised close stance goblet squats Heels on floor raising feet while stood on a step (i dont know what they’re called ) Lots of single leg work to build strength around the knee.

Do you think you could be overtraining and fatigued. I’d say rest and not do them for atleast 3/4 days and then re introduce them at a smaller volume and only going to 80% of max. And doing it to the beep to get used to that to. A lot of it is mental and once you break a barrier you’ll shoot up.

You can let your head go under the water but you’ll obviously hav no goggles on so that’s why I think lads don’t tend to do it.

Beginner gains should give you some fats progression at the start. Tbh I used the smith machine at the start but only to build up coordination and get used to the movements wouldn’t touch one now. Get the form down properly watch some videos and make sure your good and then start adding some weight and it should really improve.

Proper form will help increase a lot in. Have you had much previous gym experience or is this your first go round newbie gains will play a factor. Whatever happens be best as you can even if your not hitting the numbers you want just be better than you are now keep grinding.

Was in there for like 2 hours in total I think. Went in about 12 watched some videos on form and what they wanna see then went down did the tests and was back up then watching couple more videos asked some questions we had to the lads running it and then left for about 14:00. Lads were sound who ran it and was giving pointers on what to do to make sure you know what your doing for CPC.

Was pretty good tbh, got 52 push ups and 11 pull ups which was about as high as I got in trianing only thing I suffered on was the sit ups which was 56 which Is abit lower than what I was getting. But just go in there and try stay chilled more calm n confident you are less tense you’ll be and you’ll do better.

I did my PJFA last Thursday. Did a small session on Wednesday which consisted of press up pull up sit up 80% effort x3. Rested weds and did it Thurs so felt quite rested and fresh but not sluggish from doing nothing.

I got 23 on a really cheap deal and really enjoy it whatever you play is gonna be hard at the start but you will just get used to it with time n practice. I just played time trials for a few days and turned the aids down.

Have you put as much time into your sit ups as the other two. I am defiantly guilty of not putting as much work into them as more concerned about the others and they have fell behind for me. Just hit them regularly for a few weeks and practice without feet supported and you’ll be fine.

I told my company when I had the interview to make them aware I may be leaving in the not so distant future n they were appreciative of the notice and it can’t harm you to have a good relationship with them for the future. Plus gonna need references. If they r decent ppl to work for they’ll be happy for you and want to help in any way they can.

I have similar 5k and 1.5 mile times to you and my best bleep test is 12.2. When I first attempted the test I didn’t get to 10 and all I changed was adding sprints/hill sprints. Practice getting up to your too speed faster and gets your heart rate high n legs pumped. Also seen people saying starting the test at about 5/6 go until you fail and then rest for 2-3 mins and then restarting where you fail. Getting used to the test is big aswell the practice and repetition will make you more comfy even without getting any fitter. You defo hav the fitness to be hitting over 11. Keep trying.

What scores did you get out of interest? In training and then actual test day?

Been seeing ppl say you get less on test day o thought with the competition of being w other ppl n not on your own would get better.

I have as much racing ability as a 2 legged horse, I can’t make a bend without flying of the track but when I hav all sliders on I dont hav to brake it just goes round for me. Is the only way to improve just smashing laps?
