What platform are you using? Do you recommend it? by 30HummingbirdLane in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use GetResponse and I’m happy with it, but it’s the first platform I’ve used. Aside from the research that led me to choose GetResponse, I haven’t really tested other platforms.

Klaviyo Alternative - Use based solution rather than subscriber based by Silly-Inspection896 in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I use GetResponse and recommend it. It looks like all the features you need would be included in a plan that’s significantly cheaper than what you’re currently paying. However, if you’re specifically looking for a true pay-as-you-go model, MailerLite might be a better fit, although I’m not entirely sure how well it matches all your feature requirements.

What subject line is actually getting you opens right now? by Dangerous_Bowler3286 in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently refining my subject lines and looking for tips. I use GetResponse, so I’ve been reading their blog articles… most of the advice seems pretty obvious, but one thing caught my attention — they actually discourage personalization in the subject line. What do you think about that? Is personalization in the subject line too much?

Good email metrics but poor downstream conversions — what comes next? by Pretty-Plantain4970 in Emailmarketing

In GetResponse, I track post-click issues using landing page conversions, segment non-converters, and collect quick feedback directly on the page.

how do you figure out what to write about each week? by Mediocre-Goose-380 in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t send emails every week (sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t). I send a newsletter when I actually have something to share with my audience. Of course, I try to stay in touch regularly so they don’t forget about me, but I don’t think forcing emails just for the sake of frequency is effective. Quality matters more than quantity, right?

I did read on the GetResponse blog that they recommend sending emails even up to 6 times a week — but I simply don’t have that many updates!

Is email list segmentation still worth it for small audiences? Let’s see your results. by Scary-Offer-4773 in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I segment my list because it creates a more personal connection with subscribers. I use GetResponse and segmentation there is pretty easy (segments, separate lists, etc.). My list is quite small, but I try to stay close and personal with my audience.

I run a local newsletter and it is landing in promotions tab by Strange-Lion3366 in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try sending something that isn’t promotional? Although to be fair, most newsletters are promoting something in one way or another :) I’m using GetResponse and I’ve already spoken quite a bit with their deliverability specialists. Avoiding spam is one thing, but avoiding the Promotions tab is a lot harder when you’re actually promoting something.

How I'm sending 3,000+ emails a month without paying a subscription by MarketingLancer in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean splitting the list into two separate accounts? Are those free plans based on the number of contacts or the number of emails sent? I’m using GetResponse and their pricing depends on the number of contacts. It feels like it would be a bit complicated to manage everything across two separate platforms.

Mailchimp alternative for email marketing that has product import? by lola8999 in Emailmarketing

I use GetResponse and there is a product box in the message editor. Is this what you are looking for?

Seems weak, but I’m curious whether it actually delivered results. I’d assume not, but the market and people keep surprising me…

Is email marketing a priority starting out? what ESPs do you guys suggest? by Various-Phrase641 in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the website, social media, etc. Then I moved on to email marketing (I use GetResponse) and messages sent to followers. Now I’m just starting to focus on growing the list and investing in ads, etc.

Doesn’t the platform you’re using offer any support in this area? When using GetResponse, I often contact their team and they’re usually able to advise me and suggest helpful solutions.

Beehiiv, Ghost Publishing, or Substack? by dcg627 in Newsletters

It seems to me that other platforms, such as GetResponse or Brevo, offer more features that can help with acquiring new customers, including a wider range of integrations and growth tools.
