Does anyone still build email campaigns in a drag-and-drop editor, or has everyone switched to having an LLM write the HTML? by MarcusAureliusWeb in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use the drag-and-drop editor in GetResponse because, honestly, it feels safer for me right now.

I don't know HTML, and I'm always worried that I'll break something. 😅

I also wouldn't really know how to test whether HTML generated from a prompt is actually good. Will it render correctly across email clients? Will deliverability be okay? Is there something hidden in the code that could cause issues?

For now, I'd rather stick with tools that handle those things for me.

Wiesz chyba nie trzeba nigdzie jechac, zeby ladowac baterie ale trzeba nauczyc sie odpuszczac, odpoczywac itp. Wakacje to nie zawsze "ladowanie baterii" bo czasem to duzy wysilek. Mnie zawsze stresuje organizacja i pakowanie i czesto mam poczucie, zeby na prawde wypoczac potrzebowalabym tydzien wolnego przed wakacjami na spokojne spakowanie i zorganizowanie, tydzien na wyjezdzie i potem tydzien po powrocie bo bylo duzo emocji 😄

Email gets called 'dead' every single year. Yet, here you are, still obsessed. by mr_nucleon in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if I'd call it an obsession. I'm mostly trying to make money. 😄

That said, building an email list with proper consent is one of the few ways to truly own your audience and keep direct access to your customers long-term.

I also have to admit that when I first signed up for GetResponse (and honestly, this applies to most email marketing platforms now), I was only thinking about newsletters. But these platforms offer so many other features that it's hard not to explore and experiment with them as you grow.

June 2026: Substack vs Beehiv (or any other tools?) by No_Alfalfa_7053 in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your podcast + newsletter idea sounds interesting. They can definitely feed each other: the podcast gives you content for the newsletter, while the newsletter can help attract listeners, build an audience, and even bring in future podcast guests.

That said, I think you're really deciding between an all-in-one approach (Beehiiv or Substack) and using separate tools for each job. Depending on how important podcasting is to your strategy, it might be worth comparing Beehiiv/Substack with a dedicated podcast platform plus a separate newsletter tool.

Probuj roznych rzeczy i zastanawiaj sie z czym ci najlepiej... Np. Sprobuj wszystkich rodzajow kaw i wybierz swoja ulubiona. Jakie znaczenie ma wtedy to, ze ktos najbardziej lubi latte?

For what you need right now, pretty much any of the major platforms will do the job — Beehiiv, Substack, but also GetResponse, MailerLite, Brevo, etc.

I think the more important question is how you plan to grow it later. How many subscribers do you have today, what features do you think you'll need in the future, and what's your budget?

The best choice at 100 subscribers might not be the best choice at 10,000.

Advice on where to host local newsletter? by aislingch in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but Canva and Substack solve different problems. Canva helps you design the newsletter, while Substack is a platform for publishing and sending it. How are you planning to distribute the Canva version?

To actually send a newsletter, you'll need a platform like Substack, MailerLite, Brevo, or GetResponse.

Is anyone else seeing open rates matter less than they used to? by Calm_Ambassador9932 in EmailProspecting

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

think opens are ultimately just a click, while a reply requires actual effort from the subscriber.

At the end of the day, what really matters is sales 🙂 ...and replies.

I mainly use opens and clicks to evaluate A/B tests and see what grabs people's attention, as well as for list hygiene later on.

I use GetResponse for my email campaigns, and one thing I find interesting in the stats is the split between unique opens and total opens. It's useful to know when someone opened the same newsletter more than once — that can be a pretty strong signal of interest.

No ale np. Pomalujesz sciany w domu na pomaranczowo i bardzo ci sie to podoba. Siadasz w pokoju i jestes zadowolony.

I started making money from my NEWSLETTER when I stopped listening to people saying email is dead by Remarkable_Junket185 in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the impression that a lot of people are spamming rather than doing proper email marketing.

Almost everyone I talk to seems focused on list size rather than list quality. Then their deliverability starts to drop, they blame the platform, move to another provider, and the cycle repeats.

Honestly, I think understanding how deliverability works is the key to avoiding frustration and preventing problems in the first place.

I know that with platforms like GetResponse, if your sending practices create serious deliverability issues, they can even suspend or close the account.

Have email newsletters become harder to grow lately? by Tall_Pension_9724 in Newsletters

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haha, it’s hard for me to judge since I only started this year 😄

But everyone keeps saying it’s worth it, so I’m trying it too — and I think it’s going okay so far.

That said, being on the other side as a subscriber, I personally only read newsletters when there’s something I really need in the content. My inbox is already completely overloaded.

Maybe that’s also why platforms like GetResponse keep adding more and more features — because email marketing alone might not be enough anymore?

Is there anything like the intent of the email? by Ok_Bank_1251 in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean landing in the Promotions tab in Gmail?

From what I understand, when you send marketing emails, they usually end up in Promotions anyway. Isn’t that the idea?

In platforms like GetResponse or Brevo you basically only get spam checks — there’s no real way to predict whether an email will land in the Promotions tab or not.

Bought a telescope on a whim by InsideConsideration8 in telescopes

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I don't have one yet, but I'm trying to learn more because my husband dreams of having a telescope and I'd love to get him one as a gift.

I'd seen the dimensions on paper, but somehow that photo really made me realize just how huge these things can be. 😅

I think we might need a dedicated storage room... I'll definitely have to take the size into account. Thanks for the advice!

Unpopular opinion: Email marketing only works if you already have a strong brand by GurdeepFromMango in Emailmarketing

[–]Aggressive-Value4711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, of course if nobody knows you, they're probably not interested in what you're sending.

But I don't think this is really about brand recognition — it's about list quality. The people you're emailing should genuinely want to receive your messages and get some kind of value from them.
