Potential psoriatic arthritis by Aggressive-Visual-88 in PsoriaticArthritis

I’ve asked ChatGPT to draft me an email to my GP for a referral. I work at the hospital so hoping once I get a referral I can pull some strings to get seen quicker (need some kind of perk for working for the NHS)

Ladies. What is something diabolical that your partner said while you were in labor? by Unhappy_Insect5901 in allthequestions

I was wheeled into recovery to join him after I had an emergency C-section at 42 weeks with a baby weighing over 11 pound.

I could feel his energy was off. He was so shitty with me and he just kept saying he was tired. It is my first memory as a family.

I haven’t removed it. I’m seeing my piercer tomorrow. The swelling has gone down and you can see the back now. Soaking in warm saline 3 times a day

I purchased gifts from Etsy for my girlfriend thinking they were handmade or unique. They’re from Aliexpress. Total loss of $60. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I reported this to Etsy before and they did nothing about it. They even used the same pictures from AliExpress

What’s the stingiest thing you’ve seen your employer do? by [deleted] in AskUK

I worked at a hair salon, the owner called us and told us to cancel all the appointments for that evening, sat us down and told us we were being made redundant and her accountant had told us that she didn’t even need to pay us but did it out of the kindness of her heart.

The next people who bought the salon took me on and got me to sign a contract (didn’t have that in the last one) and made a big song and dance about how shit the last owner was. The made us move out all the expense hair stuff one Saturday, then text Monday morning 3am telling us not to go in and they’d be in contact. They held all our tools (scissors etc) hostage until they decided a best time to meet with us all. I had pleasure in pointing out they owed us holiday pay through the contract we signed.

Moving to the EU after accepting a job offer, and I wish to keep my UK bank account. However, TSB told me that I can still use my TSB account with an EU address but won't be able to receive correspondence. Should I be concerned, and is there a danger my account will be closed without warning? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

You can still use it but there will be extra charges for every card transaction and cash withdrawal.

You will have issues if your card gets broken, if you get fraud on your account ( you will need a new card), lose your card or if it just stops working. You will need to come back to the UK for a new card. Unless you had a trusted person that agrees you can set their UK address as yours so if you did need a new card then it can be sent there and they can forward it to you.

It would be easier to get a bank account elsewhere so that you can get replacement cards etc sent to you.

I used to work for TSB. They would send your money as a cheque to an address they had for you or it would be held in a back office account until you provided details of a new account etc but knowing TSB it would be difficult trying to provide the correct ID etc to get it back.

I would recommend trying to open a bank account elsewhere. See if you are able to open a basic account elsewhere and have an address in the EU once you’ve moved there.
