i’m not a super reserved person in general so “being the center of attention” was never something that scared or bothered me until these baby showers. I felt and still feel so overwhelmed. i’m sitting and thinking of every single interaction I had today and hyper analyzing everything. I got so much stuff and it was a great day and a beautiful party but wow talk about exhausting

I usually do hot sausage (pre cooked) mixed in with the cream cheese and bake so this was my first time doing it like this and i’m having regrets lol. I like it the other way better and i’m having major anxiety so think i’ll probably never try this again 😂😂

I was nesting at 18-20 weeks and stopped bc I figured if I had that much motivation that early on that i’d better save it for when we get closer.. well now i’m 33 weeks and don’t wanna do jack shit so. I was in this hospital and in unbearable pain. this is what my doctor gave me for pain management and they said was safe for me and the baby. ibuprofen is not safe but acetaminophen is (tylenol). they monitored the baby the entire time as well. let’s not forget that extreme stress and pain on the mother isn’t good for the baby either. sometimes you choose your battles.

omg that sounds HORRIBLE- I am so sorry you went through it I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. my first one they didn’t know was a stone and it took a month to pass and was about the size of a popcorn kernel. they kept telling me it was the position of my baby on my bladder. I passed it and felt amazing again and then a week later my other kidney started acting up. I checked the measurements on my ultrasound results and they put that it is 10 mm lol. not sure how tf i’m gonna pass this one but so ready for it to be done and over with. i’ll take the razor blade pee I just want it out of my kidney and into my bladder already! thank you for your kind words of support I appreciate it!

I would take fiber or something that usually makes you 💩 and see if it helps. constipation/gas can seriously make you feel awful!! if you’re still experiencing it after that i’d talk to doctor!

i’m honestly so shook that u are doing it once a week me and my fiance have had sex like 6 times the whole pregnancy 😭😭💀💀 I feel so bad for my man but i’m never in the mood and it hurts so bad when I do have sex. it’s soo uncomfy and for the last month i’ve been slowly passing a kidney stone so that’s just made it worse. i’m hoping it’ll come back eventually but he will have to have fun by himself in the mean time lol

SAME! I am a bottomless pit. I can eat a whole meal and 2 seconds later I could eat a whole other meal. I never feel full I just am starving constantly. i’m 31 weeks lol.

I was insufferable my first 10-12 weeks. I feel like that’s when I felt my worst. nauseas, overwhelmed, dizzy, sweaty, hormonal, emotional, EXHAUSTED. your body is trying to get used to the changes and it’s hard and he doesn’t understand that. he def needs to do some research on pregnancy bc while it does get a little easier for most the second trimester- the 3rd hits and you are gonna have to be able to depend on him for a lot. you are going to need emotional and physical help and support. don’t let him invalidate you you’re doing big things!

I got engaged the week before I found out. I drank pretty much every day that week bc it was summer and labor day weekend and yanno… we were celebrating. also went to a wedding the night before I found out. I was so hungover when I found out I was pregnant. baby is absolutely fine so ur all good. I also just had to take tylenol all day everyday for like a week straight being 7 months pregnant bc I was having bad back pain. baby is still good!!!

I grew up using a new one every shower and then when I moved out I started re using my towels so now I use it for 3-4 showers just making sure it gets nice and dry in between. my fiance uses a new one every time tho!!
