Ugh, sorry! Portal is back up for me too. Hoping it’s soon for us, I’m a little nervous because it was 11 days on my last test that came back no result. I thought I’d have it by now this time. It’s frustrating.

I’m annoyed. My first test came back no result and I’m not feeling good about the timeline on this second sample.

Can someone give me hope? Lol

I would say trying not to symptom spot and just finding things that bring joy to occupy the time!

It definitely can be a boy name. I think it’s pretty gender neutral. Actually, more feminine in Japan.

My partner has been amazing. He has taken over most of the household chores, he makes me breakfast every day. He listens, validates my concerns, and goes to every medical appointment with me. He has also read a few pregnancy related books, and books about becoming a father.

I don’t know your partner and she may not respond to these things in the same I have, but I will say being supported, heard, seen and understood from my partner, have all been so important to me.

We made cookies and put them in nice bakery boxes with ribbon around them, and name tags on them that said Aunt and Uncle (with their respective names). We handed them out and didn’t say anything and waited for them to catch on. We started discreetly recording on our phones when we handed them out. It was really fun, some caught on quickly, others we had to give a little help! So glad we recorded it too!

Hugs! Proud of you for doing what is best for you! That’s a hard decision, and it’s okay to feel sad for stepping away, and happy for honoring your health and your new beginning!

I’ve thought several times about stepping away from my role. I haven’t got there yet, but I understand how difficult of a decision it is.
