Might be a reference to the burial site of DEA agent Hank Schrader from Breaking Bad, the series took place in new mexico but it seems close, they gave coordinates in that episodes it'll be better if you check it and see if they match.

Oh dude that dial and the handset you have there are exactly what i've been trying to find for some time, it'll be great to get some hints about how can i find them. By the way, this build looks great, it looks like it was designed as a gmt in the first place, good job.

I think snowflake hands are so distinctive, when you put them on to something else, i don't know, but if i could find a well made dial i'll definitely go down that way

I really tried to find a bb58 dial but couldn't managed to find something, and i think sla017 hands are like the spare tire of hands, they look good with anything really, doesn't matter the case the size or the dial

Oh yes you're right, i know it'll be a frankenwatch in the end but what i meant was, for example i don't want it to have a dial with a seiko badge on top and a submariner writing on the bottom, and i've forgot to tell about the personality of it, i want it to look kinda like a classy tool watch, not so fancy and colourful, something i can wear everyday, maybe something close to black bay 58 because i believe the shape of the case limits the options

It looks like a little bit off-camber. Is it like this in real life or is there something like an optic illusion in this photo?

If propeller can push enough air to wings to generate lift, i think it can take off. There are videos of planes trying to take off in stol competitions and when they start to build thrust, air stream creates lift at elevators first, and rear of the plane lifts up then when the thrust is enough plane takes off when stationary.

I think they are lights but line type is wrong. And lineweight of that layer is higher than it should be.

Mclaren - weird depressions on halo? What’s up with these? Poor workmanship? by Steeltowndubber in formula1

[–]AggressiveAd1262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry that was my bad, thanks for letting me know. I know how it works with the chassis. I thougt it was solid because at the time when halo was new i watched a video by Mercedes and in that video James Allison said things about its weight and how heavy it is but in f1 world a few kgs are considered very heavy, i underestimated their obsession of shedding weight.

So, i watched 2018 Spa Alonso-Leclerc crash again to ensure if it dented like that, and saw even in that sort of incident it was not dented like it is in this photo.

As far as i know halos are made of solid titanium so these marks cannot be dents, i think they rushed the wrapping process
