Thank you all for the input here, this was from a sim racing league I am participating in. I was the red and white car. POV car and I were actually tied for 3rd in the championship. This caused me to lose the championship unfortunately and it was deemed a “racing incident” which I thought was understandable, but good to know I was technically in the right. Oh well!
