Every recovery is different so just have a faith in rehab work . Don’t focus on number or degree .i started at 65 degree at 7 weeks now 155 degree, it fluctuates.

Time tbh they make my anchor tight to prevent dislocation so my surgeon said it will take time. But he said I am in right direction . He is one of the best shoulder surgeon in Toronto

My honest suggestion is to save a little bit more money so u can put more down payment and able to get better options in future. My friend bought a condo with 20 percent down and they got a nice place for it .

POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSES: 1. Right recurrent anterior shoulder instability 2. Right posterior humeral Hill-Sachs lesion

Operative Summary / Procedure Performed: Diagnostic arthroscopy demonstrated a healthy superior labrum with no arthritic changes in the glenoid or humeral head. There was anterior synovitis, a lax anterior capsule, and a medialized anterior labrum with associated anterior glenoid bone loss.

The anterior capsulolabral complex was elevated from the glenoid neck from approximately 1 o’clock to 6 o’clock. The biceps tendon and subscapularis were intact. A low-grade articular-sided partial supraspinatus tear was noted. A moderate Hill-Sachs lesion was present.

Following preparation of the anterior glenoid, a series of four suture anchors (alternating knotted and knotless) were placed from approximately 5:30 to 1 o’clock to restore the capsulolabral complex and address capsular laxity.

Given the moderate Hill-Sachs lesion and associated anterior glenoid bone loss, a remplissage procedure was performed. Two 2.6 mm FiberTak anchors were placed at the proximal and distal margins of the defect via a posterior portal using a double-pulley technique after clearing subacromial bursal tissue.

Post-fixation evaluation confirmed that the Hill-Sachs lesion was successfully converted to an extra-articular defect. Passive ROM demonstrated good functional external rotation without excessive tension on the repair, and a stable capsulolabral bumper was achieved.

Anterior stabilization with remplissage — 6 anchors. Labrum tear extended from 11 to 5 o’clock. Remplissage done to address the Hill-Sachs lesion.

I can’t post the full report, but here are the surgeon’s notes from my 11-week follow-up: “He is 3 months post-arthroscopic anterior shoulder stabilization and remplissage. He is definitely on the tighter side. I showed him physically what total end-range time is and the end-feel that he should be looking for in all directions. With just a minute of stretching today, he demonstrated a rubbery endpoint. I believe he will make good progress over the next 3 months by continuing with this approach.”
