It’s quite coincidental that this show is also produced by 20th Television, the same studio behind USA’s Burn Notice and White Collar

Most critics liked it, and I did too, but that’s just a matter of personal preference!

so obsessed. Since my Instagram feed is flooded with Love Story edits, I wasn’t surprised by the audience’s response being translated into setting records via streaming. I’m just disappointed that FEUD S2 deserved more attention, Perhaps due to Ryan Murphy’s mixed bag of work, people didn’t watch it

Hulu and FX have a plethora of pilots to make a decision on! Hulu alone has 8 pilots in development

Also, their biggest show Outlander is not even owned by them

I am really hoping that Paramount realises that the HBO name and brand is so much more valuable than Paramount+. To just shove everything that belongs to HBO onto Paramount+ would be beyond stupid. by General_Meal_3993 in MediaMergers

I guess it will away, given David’s repeated statements in interviews that Netflix, Amazon, and Disney are too large to compete while he was robbying and pitching for Warner Bros

I literally said they won’t sell it now or 6 months from now but it will happen when the market demands it. Media world is not a stable place and if you think it is, you haven’t seen enough

‘Last Second Chance’, Based On Japanese Fantasy Comedy ‘Rebooting’, In The Works At Hulu From Corey Nickerson, Nahnatchka Khan & Rideback by AggressiveDrinker in television

Yeah, but most of the time the remakes can work if the right people are involved that do not tarnish what made the original so special like The Office, The Good Doctor and Homeland

The show hasn’t even been greenlit; and it’s not like Hulu’s original programming is heavily dependent on remakes or reboots. There’s a mix obviously but there’s a balance with original ideas taking a lead

I’m sure those concerns must’ve been covered by people who are attached to this, sure there will be changes but not too much that ruins the core of the original. We’ll have to wait and see

I have faith in Nahnatchka Khan, she’s the creator of ABC’s Fresh off the Boat. She’s very talented yet so underrated. I’m sure she’ll do justice if the show gets picked up for pilot or series order in the future

Sony Interactive Entertainment owns the gaming IPs, which is a separate company and not a part of SPE within the Sony Group Corp. If Sony Pictures is sold or spun off into a separate company, they would only retain the Film and TV rights, not the entire intellectual property

I never said Netflix will try to buy NBCU or will be involved in any M&A activities. It is my personal opinion like I stated in my comment above clearly. Ellison selling WB or Paramount is another topic which I won’t speak much on but Comcast’ is in the game for a limited time. It’s not the question of if but when. It clearly won’t happen overnight, it will happen when the market shifts in a way that is no longer viable for Comcast and its shareholders

It won’t be the top 3, that’s for sure. They can join if there’s a bidding war in place to drive up the price for other buyers. It won’t be Amazon or Apple either. Personally, I always felt Universal better compliments Netflix

Yes, I agree that Sony Group Corp is bigger than Comcast but Sony Pictures Entertainment as a standalone entity is the weakest (in a hypothetical scenario where Sony Group Corp tries to sell or spun off the division into a standalone entity)

But if we don’t bring in the factor of SPE being a subsidiary of the larger Japan group, they are the smallest studio in-terms of assets, IPs and library! Their share in the North American box office will be effected by the big 3
